Super and immediate high. Caught myself literally staring at a wall. Doesn’t maintain that level for very long but smooths out and allows you to remember your name and get back to whatever you were doing.

Reviews. Nutrient
Worked just fine. As everyone who uses it says, start at 50%. Would continue using it but it stains roots something horrible making visual inspection of the roots upsetting. Always looks like you’re on the verge of rot. Plus, owned my Monsanto. Ew. Star off for that even though I knew going into it haha.
I do plan on using botanicare line exclusively on my next grow so let me explain the lower score. I have a a chiller, water was 66 the entire grow, still had root problems. Hydroguard may have helped save this plant or done nothing. I might do a run without chiller during winter to test it’s efficacy again but as it doesn’t affect ec it’s some piece of mind. Hydroplex didn’t get used for its full intended routine so more research to be done. Clearex is sugar water. Flushing might not actually work. Either way, smoke came out clean with white ash so no harm no foul.
After resetting with h2o2 I began adding this to help with decaying gnats and roots in res. The combo worked well and ph stayed stable the rest of the grow.
Reviews. Lamp
Great light for the price. For veg it kills. During flower it doesn’t quite cover the 2x4 area they claim but at 200 watts from the wall it’s impressive. Might have actually done some damage to my eyes… so now when I’m in the tent goggles are on. I suggest you do the same. Site won’t let me add the other SF-1000 I added in flower for a total of 303 watts at the wall.
Reviews. Tent
Cheap. Has pinholes. Not enough to cause issues as I keep the room dark anyway. Definitely an beginner tent, if I hadn’t cut the bottom out to lower the res in I couldn’t have fit this plant in there. I like the 2x4 layout but 5 feet is not enough vertical room even with a slim led light.

I HIT THE POUND!!! Technically. 12.7 oz of A/B grade buds, 1.8 oz of C grade which will be dry ice hash and 2.1 oz of trim and larf for RSO and a total of 16.6 oz. I had set a personal goal of 12 oz so I’m thrilled I hit that, I would like to hit the pound in just A/B grade so that’s my new goal. But not for next round as I’ll be doing some jack herer fast which will not yield as much. But it’s my favorite strain and I’m stocked for a bit. Much has been learned and I’m excited to get back to seed so I can properly manifold again. I do believe that providing that symmetry in branches provides more equal growth down the line and in turn more consistent result. Biggest takeaways from this grow: 1) PH IS A TYRANT. Appease it or the suffer the consequences. 2) Do start low with the EC. She was eating everything I threw at her until she wasn’t which caused much stress to her and I both. Got it resolved but wasted water and nutrients when I’m aiming to be as resourceful and responsible as I can. 3) Be AGGRESSIVE when lollipopping. Should not have had that much larf for a scrog. 4) I’ve always avoided paper bags when drying. Seemed well, trashy. I threw a couple wet trim tester buds in a bag to dry and they came out really compact like dispensary buds. I had hung the rest for dry trim and they maintained their structure and trichome quality better. My kief looks like granulated sugar. I was actually scared that I spilled something in my tray. I like the appearance and evenness of dry of the bag weed better… oh well. This was a test bed run to learn the system, layout and nutrients I want. Smell hasn’t come out as it just went into jar but I think I will add terpinator to the routine. I want more stank. Thanks and happy growing people! 🌱

Grow Questions

Ph dropped hard 24 hr after res change @ 60%. Had changed 1 week prior due to high ec + slowly dropping ph and added another air stone. Turned off the air stone for an hour, no change so likely not acid rain situation. Ph up’d, plant never showed signs of being unhappy. Thoughts?

I have had this a few times. I'm not sure what causes it but my theory is all to do with the nutrients. I'm thinking that the nitrogen increases Ph as during flower you use less N. I just let it drift down then PH up when it happens.

@Greenfingers666, showing page not found for that one but I peeked at your other grows. Do you do all autos? I tried some outdoor last year but conditions were harsh. I appreciate the ingenuity of trellis on your pink man! I need to get a second net up so things don’t topple in a couple weeks...

@Greenfingers666 thanks, learned quite a bit through this run and settled on a cabinet design for flowering and I’ll turn this into veg/clone tent.

@AutoCrazy, do it. They are a better option than what I am using (HDX 17gal). It bows, the lid is very light permeable and has grooves for moisture to hide. A cooler is insulated (I have a way overpowered chiller but still a benefit if it runs less!), is intended to hold water and has a tight sealing lid. I’ve suffered excessive evaporation in the tote due to a lack of seal and large surface area of water to evaporate. I’ve been working on what is essentially an rdwc trough that minimizes surface area of the water, uses no pvc tubing (which is safe, to a degree, but I want to avoid) and doesn’t consist of multiple containers with potentially leaking bulkheads which will be made made of fiberglassed plywood with pond armor as it is aquarium safe. I like the 2’ deep by whatever setups to flush against a wall for less footprint so it’s hard to get the space between plants needed without having massive surface area to evaporate. Good luck and get creative, you may discover something that works great.

@Gzuscamp, I am going to be building my own setup using a cooler and all sorts of other gizzmos that I found on the web. It will be original but the “science” behind it is sound lol.

@Gzuscamp, yeah, like anything it takes time to dial it in. I am sure in the long run it will prove easier then soil. That’s my hope.
