I was running the light at 50% at first and started to see some plants stretching. On day 4 I increased the power to 60%, or so I thought. I turned out I had set it to a bit more, and this girl and one more started to show warped leaves. So, I turned it down to 60% again and moved these girls closer to the corners where the light is less intense.
On day 4 I also installed the auto irrigation system since I had to leave the house for the weekend. I feed them every 6 hours.
The light schedule has been switched to give them night in the afternoon since we have some seriously hot weather during summer. This gives them a day temp at 30-31 degrees C, and a night temp at around 25 degrees.
This is the most stressed of my current girls, but she's improving. She needs to grow a little bit bigger before she's ready for topping - two days I think. I'm also having some leaf issues due to non coco specific feeding at the moment. Earlier she had problems with the light being too strong, but that's also improving.
Well, this girl is not very happy. Some unfortunate circumstances have prevented me from taking care of the girls lately. I am now trying to fix all that...She got her topping at least, we'll see if she recovers.
The slowest grower of my 4 plants. She's getting better and hopefully her grow rate will increase. She got a larger pot at day 24, and at day 28 she got some training clips. I haven't done her second topping yet. All new growth is healthy, so feeding is on the track again.
This girl was not feeling very happy a few weeks back but now she's back on track. She is a bit behind her tent sisters, though, and she is still waiting for her third and final topping.
This girl is not doing bad, but she's the smallest girl in the park. Considering she was the one in most trouble a while ago, she's looking remarkably well. Her 8 shoots are tiny, but she'll be forced into flower now anyway. Larger tent sister Sweet Cheery Pie is getting too big. It'll start with 36 hrs of darkness before the switch to 12/12.
This is the skinniest of my 4 coco girls. She had some rough times to start with, but she is coming back. I don't expect her to get as large buds as the others, but it should be ok.
This is the skinniest of my coco girls. She is still getting some nice buds, but not so many of them.
I had to shorten the legs of the grow table, and hopefully that will be enough height for all the girls in the tent. I've added a bit of fan action at pot level to make life a bit miserable for the fungus gnats that I have plenty of. I'm also ordering some yellow sticky traps.
This is the skinniest of the girls in the tent, but she has done well lately. Her internodal distances are quite long.
I have been defoliating quite a bit, and today I removed all the soft ties that were holding her down.
I added some gnat traps and fans at pot level. I have plenty of gnats, but they should soon be gone...
Miss Mimosa has made a great recovery since her early days of unhappiness. She's not as packed with buds as some of her tent sisters, but I think she'll yield alright anyway.
I had to string her up to the side of the tent since she was leaning inwards too much and hogging the space. Her buds are thickening up and they are full of trichs.
Her buds are swelling and she is pumping out trichomes. I'll have to make sure to keep her trimmings for extraction. This is a killer! She is getting super frosty!
By far the frostiest girl in the tent. This plant is getting some very pretty buds. She's got a bit of an internodal distance, but the shortish buds are swelling out into dense balls. Even the lower buds are getting fat.
The beauty queen of my current girls. This baby has amazing looking buds that glows in silver due to all the trichomes. All her buds are like hard fruits. This will be a cruise to trim. I can't wait to try her. She's going down shortly.
Harvest time!! This pretty lady was chopped on day 108. An absolutely stunning plant with flowers packed with trichomes. She will now dry whole for a few weeks before she is ready for the trim and jars.
I had some early issues with this girl making her grow a bit slower than the others but luckily she recovered in flowering. She turned out being the most beautiful girl in the tent with the frostiest buds. Amazing strain - highly recommended!
