I germinated the seed in a wet paper towel inside a ziploc bag for 48 hours before planting it. The germinator box keeps the temp at around 26 degrees C.
Not too much to report. sHe's been growing as expected. I had to leave the plants for the weekend, and they had all been down so I gave them some support. I think the problem was over watering, which I had to do to leave them for a few days.
First step in the mainlining was performed on day 14. I topped her at node 3 and removed nodes 1 and 2. She's doing well but has a bit wrinkly leaves from the powerful LED light. It's set at 75%.
At day 19 she got upgraded to a 11 litre fabric pot. The next day at day 20 she got her second topping in preparation of the mainlining. The light intensity has been increased to 75%.
This week I've done two toppings and completed the mainlining. Topping number 2 was done at day 23, and the final topping done at day 27. She'll now mainly get defoliated and some light LST.
This week we got some extra space in the tent. It will now only be 3 plants sharing the space. My Larry Bird Kush plant turned hermaphrodite and started to make balls. This plant is doing very well. I'll give her maybe a week more of veg. before I'll switch to flower.
This girl is starting to get a beautiful structure. I gave her a 2 hour day today, which is being followed by a 24 hour darkness period. From tomorrow she'll be on 12/12.
This baby is spreading out perfectly. All her 8 branches are spread out evenly and are about the same size. Nice thick branches. She's grows quite compact, she's 20 cm shorter than her tent sisters, and I've had to raise her pot a bit. But she is beautifully even and nice and dense. I have high hopes for this girl...
I have done a fair bit of defoliating, and also some light supercropping to widen her a bit.
This is a beautiful and compact lady. I have been supercropping her a bit, and I defoliate a lot. She has stretched a fair bit this last week, but she's still shorter than her tent sisters and her pot needs to be raised even more. That's on today's todo list. She is spreading out just as good as her sisters, though, and the tent is filling up beautifully. I'm expecting a tent full of very fat buds in a few weeks time.
This girl is showing very little stretch. She's not getting very tall. Instead she is very compact and full of little buds. I'm looking forward to see her in full flower, she'll be a beauty for sure. She has great structure.
We have a fair bit of stretch this last week. I have removed a lot of fan leaves and she is building up her colas beautifully. She is growing very compact. I think we will see some fat buds on this girl. Trichomes are starting to show.
She has stopped stretching and is now stacking on buds. Her compact build will make it very tight between buds. I have continuously plucked leaves but she is very hard to reach at the back of the tent. Tomorrow she'll get a better defoliation...
Bruce Banner 3 is flowering a bit slower than the others in the tent and she is working on fattening those buds. I am defoliating some, but she is hard to reach and I can't get to those leaves in the centre of the plant.
After 8 weeks of flowering she is starting to swell. All buds are getting fat and frosty. We see more and more trichomes being produced, and we can see this will be some very potent buds.
This last week she has been getting a bit more space. However, the big monster in front of her still prevents me from reaching her properly. She is packed with buds, she is ver solidly built. The buds are frosting up nicely.
For the first time in a long time I've been able to see and touch this plant. She has been hiding behind the taller plants at the back of the tent for months. Getting her out was a struggle, and I managed to hurt my back in the process. Once out I was amazed how solid she is - like a solid bud almost...
Harvest will happen tomorrow on day 87.
This is some extremely potent bud!! One of my new daytime favourites. If I could change the score, I would give it a 9. It is very sticky, pungent, and delicious.
This plant grew incredibly compact. I couldn't really LST it since it was so dense and compact. In the end she was almost like one compact giant bud. She grew very well and was easy to maintain. Even though her branches were heavy with buds, they were strong enough that I didn't have to add any support.
Thanks @CrazyHorse, yes, they are super healthy now, all 3 plants in the tent. I always do different strains together, and it's sometimes hard to keep them all happy at once since they all get the same juice. Let's hope they'll stay happy together until they finish. 😊
Very nice grow, very similar to my nutes, I need really missing out by not doing drip. Can I ask u, what system do you use, do you buy it or the kit and build it yourself?
Thank you @gottagrowsometime,
I have built all my irrigation systems myself. It involves a bit of work, but once it's done it makes life so much easier.
