Sep 29: harvested second round of 765 g wet from grow area plants for total of 1,165 g wet so far from four plants.
Unlike the other 11Roses crosses (Purple Mazar and Triple XL) none of these finished early. All four plants in the grow area are similar phenotype. The field plant is a bit bigger pheno but it also vegged much longer and got much bigger.
The question now is how close to done the field plant will get before we get a hard frost. No frost in the two week forecast but it usually happens by mid-October.
Oct 2: added Scrog net. Took round of 335 g wet.
Oct 4: field plant is very big and buds are forming quickly. Buds are slightly ahead of the Fast Skunk that is beside it. This plant is three weeks older than the Fast Skunk.
@Rangaku, best hobby ever. I haven’t liked most of my crosses so far but these were good and particularly the field plant. Have a few good possibilities for next year (if I can do this again next year…tough way to make a buck within the rules). Tough outdoor conditions here in spring and fall but sunny with 17 h daylight near the solstice means it can work great if things are timed properly with the right plants.
