Hello friends! I know I'm a bit late with the update so here's what I got so far :) ~Progress Report~ The seedlings have responded well to the nutes so far except for the WW, which seems to be more temperamental than the other girls. I'm holding back on the nutes for the WW till she stabilizes. So far the majority are doing well. No pest so far, I'll be on the look out for em, little buggers. Will be re-potting next week if root development is solid. Much love, Meus <3 ~other~ * Light nutes every 4-6 days [PH'd @ 6.2-6.5] * Mykos, Orca, Recharge dosed water wo/nutes [PH'd @ 6.2-6.5] ~update (day 19)~ I had to toss my bottle of Voodoo Juice, got all moldy and smelled like rotten eggs even though I only had it for just over a month... If any of you have used this before is that normal? Anyways moving on, 4 of the girls are re-potted in Foxfarm Ocean Blend soil, so no more nutes for while. The 2 Purple Urkle's are staying downsized a bit longer, need to get more pots. I will update with pictures on the 4th kickin off week 3. If you have any questions or tips shoot me a pm or comment below! Thank you and see you soon :)

Hello again my friends! I uploaded longer vids this time for the Vlogs, you don't have to watch em they're there for ya if you're interested :) ~Update~ To start off the girls look great, I'm excited that I'm back where I was when my "First Grow" failed. What's interesting to me is seeing the big difference in the SSH, the 2 previous girls I had were veracious growers, 3 1/2 days of germination and they had a tap root longer than an inch! This one is not so aggressive and has stronger sativa genetics, thin not phat. The others have been doing well, no pest yet which I'll be doing a bleach wipe down of my side of the garage to reduce the chances of an invasion. ~Note~ I'll be updating later this week with a short vid showing the progress. If you happen to watch my longer vlogs let me know what you think down in the comments, I appreciate the feedback ya'll provide. Have a blessed day, much love Meus <3 ~Update 9-19-18 [Mainline]~ So things went well, I'm looking forward to seeing if the clones take. Check out the vid if you wanna see my first attempt at mainlining! The next update will be Tuesday, see ya then!

~Update (day 28)~ The manifolding has been successful so far, the clones will probably not make it since they are in the wrong environment. I had a florescent fixture but it broke and every time I touched it with power on I'd get shocked (not good). I just wanted to take clones instead of tossing the potential clone out. I'll be sure to upload a short vid showcasing what I have so far, might be a bit since I'm very busy today. Thanks for the love guys, much appreciated! Meus

~Update (9-19)~ Hello my friends! I can't believe the growth for the past week, crazy! I'm a day late updating my diary (honestly I'm a little nervous since I have a date this Sunday) so I'll be performing the lst and topping later on today. Thank you for all the love and support guys, I appreciate it (:

~Update~ Hello everyone! I'm excited to see progress with the girls. I'm going to re-pot them soon (5 gallon fabric pots). The lst is working like a charm too! I do have a question, is it normal to smell dank stank this soon? My garage smells awesome! And there are no buds, I'm honestly surprised by this, just a thought. Anyways thanks for the support and as always my friends, good grow'n (:

I will not post further clone updates on this diary; I will keep all photos & videos including my clones up to this point. ~ Update ~ Hello my friends! I was surprized this week. Honestly I forgot about my girls for a few days (I don't recommend doing this) and behold, growth! First I'd like to mention that the runt (White Widow) is catching up! Phat dense canopy, I can't wait to train her into a beast. Now second, This was the biggest surprise, my Perp's are growing the best, and it's bag weed, the stuff was fantastic so hopefully these grow into beautiful plants. Lastly I'd like to mention the clones. I was about to give up on a few of em, but look at em now! The cbd's didn't stress at all, what a monster... I like it! ~ Nutrient Plan ~ For the last week and this I'll be using mostly PH'd water (6.2 - 6.5) I'll transplant into new pots at the end of the week, in which case I'll begin the root boosting treatment once again. Foxfarm soil has worked out perfectly so far, I think I'll continue to use this product, great results so far Thanks for your support guys, I always appreciate it! Have a good day & good grow'n Meus ~ Update 10.5 ~ I'm updating this weeks comment to address the clone situation and third phase to my mainline grow. Clones: In hindsight I should have (still new to GD) created a separate diary for the clones, there's one now! This will help with any confusion to those who haven't followed along with my grow. To the nature of this being a diary I will keep all my notes, progress updates, and media including my clones up to this point. If you're interested in following the progress of these little ones look up my other diary "A few Clones" check it out! Mainline: As for the Mainline experiment it's going well. Split two stems a bit today *cries* it's not that bad I was able to use ties to support em. Hoping all goes well adjusting to the new phase. I will have to be careful to remove ties before they pinch and constrict my girls (more like a note to self). I'm not posting videos recently since my computer doesn't recognize my phone anymore? so no videos for now, sorry about that guys :) Thanks & as always, good grow'n I will not post further clone updates on this diary; I will keep all photos & videos including my clones up to this point.

~ Update ~ Hello friends I have good news and bad(ish) news... + Good News plants look healthy, lush and dark green great root development recovering from split stems (2 plants; CBD, Purple Urkle) - Bad News Well s*** I have mites again! Now What? First: Treated and sanitized the grow environment to make sure that was taken care of. Second: Prepared a bowl of distilled water, a splash of alcohol and a couple squirts of dish soap; I applied the mixture buy gently cleaning off each leaf with a small towel. Third: applied neem oil as the final treatment (for this week). I'll keep an eye on everything, if you have any suggestions I'm open to em :) Thanks for the love guys! Have a good day, & good grow'n Meus

Hello friends! Here’s the skinny on my grow “First Mainline Attempt!”. I’m going to split this up a bit so it’s easier to follow, this will be a long one :) ~ Progress Day 56 ~ There’s been a lot of growth happening since I got this new light from KINGLED, genuinely surprised. I could notice the difference within hours that my little ones where love’n the light! Compared to last week the difference is huge (to me). I was using a Bestva LED light for my grows up to this point. I read reviews and thought that would be the best light (Bestva) within my current budget. But my plants didn’t seem happy, or growing at an expected rate, I thought I was doing something wrong. Well long story short the KINGLED has made a impact on my plants, I can’t believe all I needed was more light. I will post the light specs below if you’re interested. Now i’m gonna jump right into this weeks growth. I’ll separate each plant below and provide details on height and structure. ~ Individual Progress Notes ~ [CBD Blueberry] Height: 6.0" Tops: 8 Notes: Smallest of the mothers, and she has a weird asymmetrical growth pattern, the nodes don’t match evenly, not sure what mutation this is. It could be that this strain doesn’t like being mainlined.. If this negatively impacts the overall yield and quality I will kill off this mother plant and clones. I have 2 more seeds to germ so it’s not a total loss. [Mazar] Height: 8.0" Tops: 8 Notes: This girl is responding the best to the mainline experiment, I’m excited to clone her off later. Nice symmetrical growth :) [White Widow] Height: 6.1" Tops: 8 Notes: I honestly thought she would be the runt, guess not! Though not the biggest she has the phatest leaves and thickest canopy. I can only wonder what the next few weeks will be like. Must clone! [Super Silver Haze] Height: 7.2" Tops: 8 Notes: Another that’s responding well to the treatment. I’d like to clone her of as well as soon as there is enough growth for me to collect samples. I’ve only had this strain once so I’m hoping this will be as good or better, who knows :) [Purple Urkle #1] Height: 8.0 Tops: 8 Notes: I lost the clone to this girl, I'll need a replacement(s) to test before I flower, more stretch than the others, hmm (both 1 & 2 need to be tested via clones) [Purple Urkle #2] Height: 9.0 Tops: 8 Notes: This girl is very stretchy and her clone is insane! Thickest stalk out of any of my girls? I don't know why but she is phat, love it. Check out my diary "A Few Clones" if you're interested in this possible monster of a plant :) ~ Concerns ~ My only real concern at this point is mite and insect control. This grow is in the garage so that’s not especially easy to avoid. Staying vigilant and nuke’n everything that moves (without harming my plants) is working so far. Those pesky mites and other fan favorite insects! I swear I’ll get my revenge >:( ~ Final Thoughts ~ Other than the local mite population making claims to my property, I’m very satisfied with this weeks progress. Installing the ducting and fans was the hardest chore I had to do, and now that’s taken care of. Before I finish up I want to apologize for not being as detailed and thorough these past few weeks. Now this is a bit personal but I’m willing to share it with ya’ll. My mother has stage 4 cancer, yeah… It hasn’t hit me like a train yet, but I’m still suffering. I’m trying to prepare myself in the event she doesn't make it through chemo and that’s a tough pill to swallow friends. Hopefully I can produce some cbd medicine for her to ease her pain, and help to improve her quality of life. I’m going to close this weeks update by saying thank you to all of you wonderful people, the support and comments make my day, I appreciate em all. Much love, Meus [Light Specs] Brand: KINGLED Series: King Plus Model: 3000 watt Replacement: 2000 watt Avg Power Draw: 615 watt Input Voltage(AC): 85-265 Volts Frequency: 50-60 Hz Lifespan: 50,000 hours Total LEDs: 300 Core Coverage Area at 24": 7.8' x 7.5' PAR at 18": 760 μmol/m2s Lumens: 23454.6 Weight: 15.8 lbs

~ Day 71 Update ~ Hello everyone! Hola! I’m Meus and this is my 10th weekly update for “First Mainline Attempt!”. I’d like to welcome new & veteran growers, Thanks for taking the time to stop by :) ~ Progress ~ You know, I’m astounded by the level of growth in this past week, my mind is blown! 5" of growth compared to the avg of 1" for the past few weeks (9,8,7, etc), just wow 😱. The smell is pungent, dank, and slightly sweet. I can only dream of what these girls will skunk out, soon, very soon... I’d like to flower now but I have a few small issues. First: I wanted to stop at 8 toppings but I need clones of the others so everyone gets topped to keep an even canopy. Of course I’m not taking 8 clones each 😏, just 2-3 of each strain (5 strains, 6 plants; 2 phenotypes) to put in my 2nd tent till these girls (mainlined beasts) are harvested. This is ambitious though I’m optimistic that this will work out 🙏 Second: Related to the first issue I’m going to need a trellis net to support these girls with their 16 tops. Thing is, all my plant have varying flowering schedules (55 to 70+ days). I’ll need to make a net set up that I can cut out each plant individually as they’re ready to harvest. Third: MOLD! Though it’s not a lot I do have a bit of mold developing at the bottom of the fabric pots (which are known to mold). I’m going to switch to Superoots Air-Pot so I can avoid the mold. They’re $10+ a pop so I might have to wait till my next grow to afford the amount I need to make a full switch. Depending on how things go I’ll start flowering at week 13. Now concerning the mold I found a few ways to deal with my problem without harming or altering taste of these young ladies. This will be a tough 11 - 14 weeks, I’ll keep ya updated fam! ~ Individual progress notes ~ (will post full information soon, update delayed for personal reasons) [Purple Urkle #1] Height: 14" Tops: 8 Notes: 14 inches... That's quite a climb :) Though she's stretchy like her sister I'm excited, can't wait to see the development in the next few weeks of veg 😊 [Purple Urkle #2] Height: 13.2" Tops: 8 Notes: I'm surprised at the uniformity of these two sisters, I'm going to veg a bit longer and get me some clones just in case ;) [CBD Blueberry] Height: 9.8" Tops: 8 Notes: I thought this girl was a goner, definitely didn't respond to the mainline well like the others, wonder why? 😶 Still I'm impressed that my smallest plant is filling in, though she looks weird I still love her and her minions <3 [White Widow] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: Well... This was one of my smallest girls, she's by far the bushiest and most filled in. For an example look at her root mass, one word, insane! Roots are spreading everywhere, so aggressive and the trunk is huge, perfect for transporting all those nutes. Tanya here recovered from a split too, awesome :) [Mazar] Height: 13.8 Tops: 8 Notes: Taller but just as dense as the white widow, the Mazar has potential! A beautiful, healthy canopy, one of my best girls. It's a good feeling knowing that my hard work is paying off 😭 I'm afraid of topping this one because she is so dense that 16 tops will be off the hook, better make a plan soon 🙏 [Super Silver Haze] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: I’m starting to get impatient, I love this strain! Well, most strains developed by Arjan are great <3 I will need to feed soon with diluted nutes, she looks hungry a bit. Other than that she’s a healthy young lady that’s ready to flower :) ~ Final Thoughts ~ Where to start... I’m excited! Getting my clones are my top priority right now, then I'll focus on canopy support. I’ve come a long way from my first grow, even though I failed I learned a lot. Those lessons are keeping me on my toes and I’m learning more everyday. Thank you to those who have been influential to my success, much love! I can honestly say Grow Diaries is the best! What a fantastic community to just happen upon while skimming forums one day. So again, thank you guys so much for the support! The comments are informative and helpful, I appreciate em all :) Thanks for stopping by, much love <3

[NEW ~ 11.1.18I just started nutes at low doses to ease these girls in without shocking em (hopefully). I have to be careful and monitor these ladies to see how they respond. They look good so far and handled their transition to flower well. I'll update ya guys if something goes wrong, much love! Hola los amigos! Hello my friends! I'm back with week 11's (day 71) diary. Today I decided to make a longer video, which I left out a few things because I didn't want to make the video another 2-3 minutes longer :) So at the and of my weekly comment I'll mention what I didn't in the video, Thanks for checking out one my diaries, if you notice anything I'm missing let me know, I'd really appreciate it 😅 ~ Update day 71 ~ First on the list is the overall growth of these girls, I’m astounded. I’m very happy that I made the decision to use Grower Choice Seeds, even though there is a issue with my CBD Blueberry I tried some of the trimmed buds and I’ll tell you what, those buds were way immature.. but the effect was incredibly pleasant and perfect for ending a hard days work, wow I can’t wait to harvest the mother! I’ll definitely grow more CBD Blueberry on my next rotation. Still I’m wondering what could have happened to cause the CBD to bud and not the others… Oh well, It’s a good learning experience :) Now I’ll get into the individual progress notes for this week, enjoy <3 ~ Individual Progress Notes ~ [Purple Urkle #1] Height: 14.6" Tops: 16 Notes: I’m very happy to see this girl finally get a bit bushier. Having a very similar structure to her sister her genes are nowhere near as aggressive. Still I’m curious what pheno this girl is… Only time will tell. [Purple Urkle #2] Height: 15.5" Tops: 16 Notes: This Twister Sister is insane! I have to mention her clones here. I kid you not this girl is aggressive and my best grower. All her clones are massive compared to the others. I’m keeping this girl, I might even breed her with a Thai Landrace just to see what happens ;) [CBD Blueberry] Height: 18" Tops: 8 Notes: This girl is confused, poor thing :( I got her to reveg, not sure how but it happened. If you look closely at the leaves you can see the weird deformed that are a classic sign of reveging. The growth rate has increased a lot! She was my smallest plant and now she’s mt tallest, I need to do some HST or topping, don’t want her towering over the others. Now I have a question, do any of you guys know if it’s bad to reveg feminized plants? I heard a rumor that it’s not recommended but I’d like to ask my fellow growers here on GD. [Mazar] Height: 18" Tops: 16 Notes: Now this is a proper bush, a beautiful round full structure, these genetic look amazing, can’t wait to see what she matures into. I’m glad I’m stopping at 16 tops because this girl would take up the entire 4 x 4 tent if I let her, big girl :) [Super Silver Haze] Height: 15.3" Tops: 16 Notes: She’s now one of my smallest girls, though her structure and canopy is solid. She’s loving the net, let’s her breathe a bit more. I have high hope for this one, much love for Arjan and any of his creations. [White Widow] Height: 18" Tops: 16 Notes: My all time favorite! Tanya has bluish green leaves that have a platinum sheen to em. I really like the colors, I wonder how white this girl will get, If you guys have any suggestions to make WW or any strain extra frosty let me know <3 ~ Final Thoughts ~ I made it to flowering! Woop! Now it’s time for the hard part, the budz :D This has been a stressful, yet oddly relaxing (more like cathartic) and rewarding experience, I’m slowly introducing nutes every other watering. The next nute mix will be when I start week 12 (flowering) I will and some flower fuel to help boost the growth of phat buds. I’ll also add molasses and honey for carbohydrates and sweetness. The expected harvest date is around December 17th so stick around ya! See you guys next week! :) ~ Honorable Mentions ~ A big thank you to everyone who has been supporting me through this grow! I have much love and respect for these people. All the advice, tips, suggestions, and of course all the good vibes and love from the comments, much love Meus <3 Stinkfox, Tazard, SpinnerGrow, Bulbi, ValhallasGarden, Floran, ODDTODD45, and bobo420! You guys are awesome! Thanks again for everything so far, My current success is because of all of ya!

Hello my friends! I have some good news and bad news this week, [Bad News]First I'll mention that all, yes all of my Purple Urkle's had to go 😰 I was on the phone with a good friend of mine while admiring my garden of green and I spy with my little eyes 😶 a pollen pod containing nanas. So as hard as it was to cut em down, I knew they had to go. I’m honestly relieved to have those time bombs removed from my tent, that’s all I needed was seeded product. I won’t let this discourage me, in fact I’m empowered knowing that I averted this potential crisis :) I’ll still keep me eye out just in case, you never know. [Good News] The other remaining strains, White Widow, Super Silver Haze, CBD Blueberry, & Mazar are doing well. Since I feed them light nutes last time I’m debating if I should feed them a 2nd time, or just use some good ol ph’d tap? They look so good I don’t want to over feed em, then again I want the girls to have plenty of nutrients to avoid potential deficiencies. The CBD was the first to flower, though it’s kind of been flowering on and off for a while. If these results happen with the other CBD seeds I’d probably avoid purchasing this product again, I’m not happy with the mutations that are going on with this plant (this is technically bad news). Back to the point I see signs of flowering in all the girls now! This is where it gets exciting, so pumped for this phase, I’ve waited 78+ days for this! I think that’s enough rambling, I’ll get right into the Individual Progress Notes, enjoy :) ~ Individual Progress Notes ~ [CBD] Height: 24.8” Tops: 8 Notes: This one is about 1 - 2 weeks ahead of the others, which are just showing their “hairs” now. I’m on the fence, I’m not sure how this CBD is going to be as a finished product. I hope the other seeds I have don’t have the same mutations... I haven’t had any contact from GCS since their reply. I’ll still write them a report when this girl is harvested, that would probably be better in the long run so they have more information about these mutations I’m experiencing. [Mazar] Height: 22.3” Tops: 16 Notes: I’ll just say she looked like a perfect orb when I removed the trellis netting to realign the family. A very even growth rate, with a consistent distance between nodes, beautiful. The genetics for Mazar here is amazing, now I can’t say this for sure but for now her growth and shape is fantastic and beyond my expectations. [Super Silver Haze] Height: 22.5” Tops: 16 Notes: Talk about sudden growth! This beastie was one of my smallest girls and just like my friend here on GD called it, she shot up! She also has the biggest fan leaves (not the most fingers). Now that she has more room to spread out and breath I’m sure she’ll grow even more. [White Widow] Height: 23.3” Tops: 16 Notes: Tanya here is growing so well, very happy. Her leaves still have that blue steel, green look. I love it! Other than the mazar she has the 2nd most bud sites. Soon, very soon we’ll see flowers starting to develop. I noticed some possible nute burn/deficiencies with a couple of her fans so I’ll use ph’d water next feeding to see if the condition stabilizes, I’ll know by then. ~ Final Thoughts ~ It’s been a long run so far my friends. I can’t say everything has gone as planned, but I avoided a huge blow to my product by noticing the pollen pods developing on the Purple Urkle females. This transition has gone well so far, no shock or hardcore deficiencies. Again, thank you all for your kind words and support! Much love, Meus

~ Update ~ Finally my friends, it looks like everything has officially started the flowering cycle. I had a few issues going on, black spots, drastic drop in temps, fungal gnats, and a little more. I got everything under control for now, gotta keep a watchful eye ;) I’m a bit late with the notes and pics, so here they are! Enjoy :) ~ Individual Progress Notes ~ [CBD Blueberry] Height: 23.3” Tops: 8 Notes: The smell is getting more intense now. Still has hat tropical theme; papaya, melon, and sweet berries are the most prominent scents. I’m noticing slight purple towards the tips of buds and sugar leaves. Even though this pheno I have is acting up I like what I see, and smell ;) [Mazar] Height: 22.7” Tops: 16 Notes: I’m going to use nothing but water for a while. The leaves look ashy, and bland when the others are lush green. I wonder if this girl is a light feeder? I will water the others with seperate nute regimen to avoid making this condition worse. I also have little dark spots that show up on the leaves which I haven't found on the other girls. This being a unique event, I’m not sure if it’s fungal or nutes. I will find out eventually. I pick off all the leaves that are contaminated to avoid spreading this condition (if airborne or contact transfer applies). I will keep an eye on this one.... [Super Silver Haze] Height: 23.8” Tops: 16 Notes: This beast isn’t as full as WW for an example, though the stems and bud sites look solid! I really like how well this one is doing. Still has the biggest leaves too, I have high expectations for her. I wonder how much she’ll stretch in the next 3 weeks? [White Widow] Height: 22.5” Tops: 16 Notes: Out of all the girls this one has the most purple action goin on, I love purple and to me this is a great sign. The nutes work the best for this girl too, need to be careful to not overfeed the others because of this reason. I think this girls will purple out on me, well I’m hoping for that at least. I might let the trics amber to 50/50 make this girl a heavy sedative and muscle relaxant, I have time so no rush. I could harvest some of the buds with 10-20% amber then let the rest mature more, just a thought :) ~ Final Thoughts ~ I glad the majority are having no troubles, it’s a bummer I can’t get rid of this spot problem with Mazar. I need to act fast to make sure I can stop this from spreading. I might quarantine her if it comes down to it. I believe I can get to the root of the issue here, in due time. Anyways I’m glad I’ve gotten to this point! I’m very excited, starting to get a bit impatient from the anticipation… I promise I won’t harvest early ;) Much love you guys! Meus <3

(11.20.18) Hello friends,, I'm going to update this grow on my computer since the phone is struggling to even handle typing this message... I'll try to have everything ready by tomorrow. Much love (11.21.18) ~ Update ~ Hello again! I have some good news! The buds are purple and beautiful, I can’t wait to see the end results :) I hoped the cold weather would bring out some purple qualities and boom! It did it :D as a side note it was a bit weird making a vlog while being sick but hey that’s how it goes. I hope you guys have a wonderful Thanksgiving, enjoy the holidays my friends, much love <3 ~ Individual Progress Notes ~ [CBD Blueberry] Height: 23” Tops: 7 Notes: This girl may be the weirdest one but she’s got the buds! I’m not sure what will become of this mutated girl, though I’m sure she’ll have fantastic anti anxiety qualities. I might turn most of the end product into RSO. Though I’ll cure and keep some on the side for times of need. [Mazar] Height: 22” Tops: 16 Notes: Had a bit of nute burn, not too much though. I’m going to feed this girl separately so I can avoid stressing her out. The Mazar has the most bud sites, this make her buds smaller in comparison to CBD and SSH. [Super Silver Haze] Height: 23” Tops: 16 Notes: I have to say it, this plant might be my favorite. I love Mazar and all her fluffy beauty but the heavy stems, big fans, packed buds, she took my number spot! I love how strong and easy it is to deal with her. As a new grower I couldn’t ask for a better beginner strain. [White Widow] Height: 23” Tops: 16 Notes: Okay, White Widow will always be my numero uno. An all day smoke that never gets old (to me). I could work, study, game, or sleep without any distractions or odd effects. This might be in part to my personal chemistry, so I can’t say this will affect you the same way. I hope this girl is like all the WW I’ve had before or better! ~ Final Thoughts ~ As I bring my weekly update to a close I wanted to say thank you all for the support and comments, you have no idea how grateful I am to each and every one of you. Enjoy the holidays, much love & good grow’n <3

~ Update ~ Hello my friends, welcome back to another weekly update. I have a few issues going on so I’ll put those below in the IPN. This has been a good week so far, the girls are very happy, except the bazar mazar… Other than that it’s exciting that I’m pretty much at the halfway point :) Anyways, enjoy the update and let me know what you think in the comments, I always appreciate feedback ~ Individual Progress Notes ~ [CBD] Notes: This is the healthiest of the bunch, nice rich green leaves and fluffy buds. I’m surprised the this little mutant is doing so well. As I said in the vlog GCS got back to me last week, I’ll keep them up to date with my grow so they know what’s going on with this girl. [Mazar] Notes: Burn! I’m noticing a lot of small but noticeable spots, leaf chattering, and slight yellowing at the tip of the leaves. I feel like I should just avoid feeding this girl though I’m not sure if that will help the situation. If you guys can take a look at this girl I’d really appreciate it :) Edit: I found out thanks to my friends here on GD that I burned my Bazar Mazar :( So time for water which I might only give her water and flower fuel then flush till harvest (might be my cleanest tasting and smelling afterwards). It's hard to feed 4 different metabolisms every watering, but hey I'm learning :) [Super Silver Haze] Notes: The beast of the grow! What a lovely plant. Even though this girl got really hungry and started cannibalizing the lower leaves her buds are massive! I’m impressed with the total growth of this beast. Honestly, I’m cheering this girl on, might be my favorite (don’t tell the others). [White Widow] Notes: More like purple widow, this dense girl is showing her dark side and I like it. I planned on the purpling, still surprising to see all this purple though. I like purple buds but I don’t want this (or any of the girls) getting shocked by the cold. Hoping the I can get a few more pieces of gear to help out the next grow. ~ Final Thoughts ~ What a week, some of the girls are rocking and the Mazar, not so much :) It’s a learning experience that will take some time for me to learn how to balance all (most) of the variables. Thank you guys so much for all the love and support, I always appreciate it :) Happy holidays and good grow’n fam, much love Meus <3

Hello GD my Mazar is having weird patches of shiny stuff that look like snail trails (no snails) it doesn't rub off and I'm not finding the issue online. I'd appreciate any insight into this issue (:

I think that the beginning of a thrips infestation you can buy a spray for that in youre local gardenstore Just spray it on and 2 days later no more bugs and i still stays active in the plant about 3 weeks so if she has les than 3 weeks to go you cant use it cause it Will show in the taste of the buds afterwards

Growing this was a pain, seriously! As a beginner this was a huge challenge. I have two clones so I can learn how to manage this pheno better in time. Sticky buds, long lasting relaxation, and overall a wonderful smell, quite lovely. The next time I run this girl it's gonna be a single strain grow so I can use one batch of nutes, makes it easier on me :) Disclaimer: This review is only for the specific seed(s) or strain(s) and does not comprise the breeder as a whole due to environmental factors, phenotypes, genotypes and their effects on quality, user compatibility and yield. Single strain grows are recognized as individual specimens while grows concerning multiple specimens of same genetics and breeder will include detailed logs of each plant. Average statistics on growth rate, stability, health, and quality will also be included. This is to avoid giving companies, private seed breeding organizations and individuals a poor or biased rating, My opinion is based on my experiences throughout the cultivation period and final product quality. Let me say growing Mazar was a challenge. I would have to say this was the most temperamental strain I grew, ever (to this date). I had to harvest early (Dec 4th) because of some nute complications that the others didn't have. Though this is from my owm error, not the plants fault. I'n hind sight it was a bit foolish to expect that the same nutes would work with all my girls, nope. So now that I've given you an idea of why I pulled early I'll get into the review of this strain! First I'll start off with what I enjoy about Mazar now that she has had about 3 weeks to cure, lovely. Now mind you I use a vaporizer so my experience is limited to the method. What a pleasant strain, warm, calming, and quite sticky, more so than the others (wonder what full maturity would have been like... The duration is about two hours, longer than a lot strains I've had. The overall experience is lovely and I'm happy that I have two more clones growing, I want to keep these genetics for a while. Now I'll get into some of the "bad" stuff. Mazer hermd on me, thankfully I pulled her early because my whole grow would have been seeded at that point. I am a bit allergic to cannabis, so when there's pollen I sneeze, get a runny nose, itchy eyes, the regular allergy symptoms. This isn't serious, just annoying. Also, at first (early cure) the bud was very harsh and bothered my asthma, due to a lack of flushing but with the time constraints I didn't have a choice. The last problem I'll mention is the fact that this strain was incredibly sensitive! She reacted to every little this when the other girls weren't phased. This was especially difficult since I don't have a lot of experience growing cannabis. Finally I'll say that regardless of the hiccups this turned out to be a fantastic product! That you to all my friends here on GD, your support got me through this grow, Thanks a million :D Pictures coming soon!

This is a review of White Widow by Growers Choice Seeds. I will discuss the difficulties and what I found to be great qualities. ~ Was this difficult to grow? ~ A little bit, as I stated in my harvest review with Mazar I used the same nutes for all of the plants. This caused some issues since every strain had its own needs. The Mazar was very sensitive to any changes. The White Widow had Purple development due to low temps, and other issues like nute burn, stunting, etc. Super Silver Haze had the most buds, insane amount of frost (compared to others) and best effects. Finally Cbd Blueberry was the least affected by high nute levels (3 times) or any environmental changes. But to the point, White Widow had issues, those of which I mentioned briefly above. Though these difficulties where due to ignorance of the individual needs of each strain, including but not limited to phenotypes. I’ve learned a lot for this project, Mainline techniques, defoliation timing, nute levels in amended soil, curing and more. This has been an exciting though anxious period of time. 19 weeks of work went into this project so far, and I don’t regret a thing. ~ What would I do differently? ~ There’s a few things I’d do differently in hindsight. I never checked the runoff of my plants (ppm-ec, or ph). This led to me experiencing certain consequences from the overuse of nutrients. Another thing is sterilize, sterilize, and you guessed it, sterilize everything! I may have done an okay job, but that’s the point, just okay. Because of the mite and pest issues in the area it makes it essential to serialize the garage every single day. Sounds crazy but I’d experience little to no issues if I worked on the main prevention, sterilization. Finally, patience… I need to take the time to properly attend to my plants. Sometimes I forget to check in on them, and this didn’t help them. I need to set reminders to do maintenance checks, don’t want to keep this habit. ~ How was the effect(s)? ~ Strong is the first thing I’ll say about White Widow. I didn’t anticipate this when I tried the first usable cured product. Wow, you know what I haven’t felt high in years, I was heroically high, learned quick that I can’t use my standard dose with this girl, nope! The effect was intensely cerebral complimented with a fuzzy, tingly sensation in the prefrontal cortex and paleo cortex. Short term memory was affected, this includes being easily distracted by anything. When used in small doses It’s pleasant, clear, and mentally simulating. I started cleaning… Bad idea for someone trying to recover from surgery haha. ~ Final thoughts ~ This White Widow turned out better than I expected, though the taste, smell, and effect is different than the White Widow I was familiar with. This one is so different that is doesn’t seem like White Widow to me. But, times change and it’s hard to maintain a certain profile over 13 years. I’m quite pleased and can’t wait to order more seeds from Grower’s Choice Seeds. I’m glad that I got the chance to grow this strain, I have more seeds so I’ll grow another run of widow soon. Well done GCS, this was very good!

Disclaimer: This review is only for the specific seed(s) or strain(s) and does not comprise the breeder as a whole due to environmental factors, phenotype's, genotype's and their effects on quality, user compatibility and yield. Any questions may be asked directly or in comments. Thank you for your understanding, Meus. ~ History ~ For those who didn’t follow my grow this one seed had some strange results. First was noticing early budding with quite a few leaves that had only 3 - 4 fingers, deformed and overall looked small compared to the others. I originally thought that I had a defective auto blueberry but that was not the case. And to make sure it wasn’t environmental I checked the other plants to see if there were any similar or odd symptoms. I found nothing, acknowledging this was a unique case. Clones were unstable, auto flowered after 3 weeks. Another odd thing to mention is the fact that this is supposed to be an indica dominant strain, this was a sativa dominant (Thai genetics) really thin leaves and airy buds. Though this was a unexpected event she made it to 17 weeks and a lot of plant training. If anything I learned from this experience, hopefully this doesn’t happen again soon! ~ First Impression ~ I loved the scent but the effect was lacking, quite a bit. Mind you this is what I experienced with the quick cure product. Harsh, and a weird aftertaste (only present in CBD) that is hard to explain. I will grow more cbd in the future to see if the results are consistent (unstable clones, leaf mutations, etc). I’m hoping for the best, I’m sure this was just one of those seeds that don’t make the cut genetically. ~ Cured Product ~ Still a bit underwhelming, I have to use about 3x my normal dose (.22g - .26g) to about .70g - 1.2g. I notice that my body will experience fatigue, heaviness, musculoskeletal release, and anti anxiety effects. This can’t be used as a daytime medication due to the lethargy like side effects. Works better as a blender, used a bit with Mazar for a pleasant relaxing experience. As this batch cured I noted that the harshness and and weird aftertaste was faintly noticeable, and the smell just gets better! ~ Pros ~ ◻️ Pleasant scent ◻️ Good yield ◻️ 1:1 ratio (7% thc/cbd) ◻️ Resistant to high nutrient levels ~ Cons ~ ◻️ Early flowering (without environmental stress) ◻️ Not suited for topping, fiming, manifolding techniques ◻️ Unstable clones, will flower in 3-4 weeks consistently ◻️ Deformed structure and leaves (11% of leaves had 3-4 fingers ◻️ Sativa dominant when advertised as an Indica ◻️ Small and weak compared to the other strains from GCS ◻️ Hermied (though not much just a few seeds) ~ Final thoughts ~ Well, this was a hard strain to manage but in the long run I think it turned out okay. 56g is not a bad harvest, and the product is pleasant when paired with other strains. I will grow this strain again so I can review a better specimen, I don't want to leave this strain at a low rating for long when the potential is there!

As I said in the review this was a tough challenge. I'm hopeful that my second attempt at this strain will be successful. Growers Choice Seeds sent me a few more to give it another go. Alex from their customer service department was very helpful and asked to be kept updated on the progress of the CBD. I'm not sure if GCS will ever see this but here's a big thanks <3 Thank you guys (GD) for all the love and support! It was so awesome seeing the get well messages when I was well enough to sit down and check my computer. Seriously, I didn't expect all of that. I am better, still have a few open wound areas but the healing is happening! :) Much love you guys! Meus <3

Any questions may be asked directly or in comments. Thank you for your understanding, Meus. ~ Pros ~ ◻️ High Yield (2.5oz / 72g) ◻️ Fantastic Scent ◻️ Frosty ◻️ Works with my Bio Individuality ◻️ Responds very well to curing process ◻️ Strong Effects ~ Cons ~ ◻️ Dry Eyes ◻️ Dry Mouth ◻️ Potentially Distracting ~ What was this like to grow? ~ Mostly a dream, I couldn’t have asked for a better strain, this one’s a keeper! Responded well to all the training, toppings, manifolding, a serious beast to have in my garden. The veg cycle was smooth sailing, strong branches and stems, well developed colas, incredible smelling buds, rich terpene levels, seriously the best smelling buds I’ve ever had, no joke. I thought for a while that this might be my 3rd or 2nd best but man, one of my friends here called it on this girl saying she’s going to blow up and be my best one, well would you look at that ;P I will be growing another batch of this wonderful specimen soon! ~ Effects ~ This girl’s in the Top 5 best cannabis I’ve ever had list! Wow, where do I begin? With a dose of .46g The first effects that I notice are along the lines of being more physical in nature. A gentle wave of warmth accompanied by ever so slight pressure behind the eyes and along brain stem. Around 2-5 minutes there’s a tingling sensation in the paleo cortex region focused around the hippocampus. Of course the effects memory retention so I’m forgetting small things here and there. Around 10-20 The body is experiencing some tingling and heightened sensory awareness, intensifying the cranial/physical sensations around +10x initial effects. Around +45 minutes The genes from Northern Lights kicks in with a heavy hit of relaxation that can be quite sedating depending on dose size. I can’t express how much I love this pheno, perfect for my personal use! ~ Was the quality what I expected? ~ Better! Way better than I anticipated. The moment I tried the first usable quick cured product I was speechless, I haven’t had that level of compatible chemistry in years. What a find, I feel so incredibly blessed to have this one seed shipped to me. This was a hefty plant with 2.5 ounces of cured product, best yield to date. Everything from the terpene profile and effects is spot on, what a lovey job GCS, well done mates! You’ve giving me an incredible product that’s clone stable, fast growing, huge limbs, fat buds, you guys earned my full 10/10 rating, thank you so much <3 ~ Final Thoughts ~ It’s the end of a 19 week journey, what a blast! I’ve learned new things, met new fiends here on Grow Diaries, this has been a lovely run. This is by far my best product, I have the two clones to keep this gene profile for a while, hoping a few years of stability at least. Anyways I couldn’t be any more satisfied with this product. It’s going to be hard to save this batch till the next harvest… Need to build a greenhouse now...

I payed 55 dollars an eight for the same level of quality, I got 18 eights of top shelf for $10 not including nutrients and supplies, yeah I'm never going back to a dispensary unless I'm traveling. This experience has improved my life in many ways. I got a total of 7.8 ounces from this grow, I'm happy :)

Plants look nice and healthy. Great genetics! Sorry things aren't going smoothly. You end up going through your stash quicker when your plants are having issues.😨😤😤😎 What about making individual cages for support? Instead of a giant SCRoG, you have 4-5 smaller ones. I wanted to do something similar on my first grow, but the tomato cages that I had were too big for my smart pot. I found out I didn't need them anyway. Stalks were plenty strong enough. One of the growers even has square fabric pots that have dowel stick holders sewn onto the outside. I haven't gotten any mold on my canvas pots, but the outsides start to get hard water deposits. You could use risers to get the pots off the saucers. That way the canvas isn't soaking up any water that is runoff. Do you reuse your fabric pots? I thought about it, but they are cheap so I buy new ones.
Quexos
Quexoscommented6 years ago
@iMeus, I was wondering about the fabric pots. I err on the side of caution, but I really couldn't think of a good reason not to reuse the pots.

@Quexos, I have a shop vac that I use after every watering to suck up all the extra fluids, works pretty good. I always buy new pots (if they're fabric). I'll do my best to keep this grow as healthy as I can :) Much love

It looks like you are back on your feet. I hope you are feeling better. Gratz on your harvest. Now you get to enjoy the fruits of your labors. Despite your difficulties, you did a fine job with this grow. You learned a ton, which will make your next grows that much easier. You'll see.

@Quexos, I'm feeling better! Don't have any pain anymore and now I can do my regular chores without feeling like I'm tearing my abdomen open lol. As you mentioned I learned a lot and I can't wait for the next project :D Thanks for the love Q!

Nice operation you have going! All of your plants look wonderful! I really hate what the plants look like when they've been mainlined. They look so sad right afterwards. You girls have really bounced back. Are you going to to top again to get more budsites, or are these going to be your mothers? Are you running both lights now? You have a lot of plants going. I was thinking you might be using both at this point. Finally, I'm really interested in your seeds. Ordering from Europe is sketchy at best. I've had one order seized and another searched. If I could find a good North American breeder, I'd sleep a lot better after placing a seed order. Have you thought of saucers of beer for your mite problem? Bulbi's idea is great. Those ladybugs will gobble up those little critters, but ladybugs have a mind of their own. They might decide to beat it down the line at some point. Beer attracts the bugs, and then they can't escape and drown. Diatamaceous earth works well on the soil surface as well. It acts like shards of glass and cuts the little insects to pieces. It is truly a gruesome insect death. I've also seen a few growers use colored sticky strips. They come in different colors to attract different types of pests.

@Quexos, I'll hit up your four questions then I'l touch on the beer, lady bugs, etc. First: When it comes to topping I have to top my Purple Urkle #1 since I don't have any clones of here whatsoever. So I'll most likely top my others, still debating. Second: As for being mothers there is no doubt they're great mommies, but it's temporary, these will be flowered when I have established clones of all 5 mother plants.. I'm not gonna lie I'd love to keep these mothers but sadly I don't have the room :( Third: Lighting, dude this new light is so bright my other light looks like a night light lol, Also this new 3000w takes up most of the lighting real estate, no need for more light. If anything I need more co2 :) Four: Dude I wish I had my first SSH that I purchased from Growers Choice Seeds. In just three days of germ the SSH seeds had a taproot about 2 inches long! Talk about aggressive growers :) Still these genetics look good so far, I won't know for sure till the end of this grow. Other Ideas: First to mention I use the stick strips, though they've only caught 2 white flies lol. That Diatomaceous Earth looks good, I'll check that out man 👍 As for beer, well I'm not a beer drinker (love mead, wine, whiskey, etc no beer. I'll give it a shot though :) Well, that was a hell of a comment! Thank you very much for stopping by and shooting me your ideas 👊 Much love <3

Glad you are shuffling about! Bud video looked great! Those were some really nice colas that you grew. If the grow didn't turn out the way you planned, you could turn the buds into edibles, and tinctures. You had a large yield. Time to experiment!

This was a really nice yield! 54 grams is very respectable for 1 plant. The buds look excellent. They are very sugary. I would be really happy with this grow.

Next time consider the strain called Blue Mazar, Super powerful blend between what you're growing. Peace brother
