4x4 multi strain coco

This past week has been relatively uneventful for 3 of the 4 plants, which was a much needed break considering all of the additional stress they underwent last week with the topping and start of LST. Unfortunately the Blue Sunset Sherbert developed a very nasty case of rust mid week and I had to remove the lower sets of leaves as an attempt to save the plant and prevent the spread to others in the tent. 3 of the 4 plants have had costly run ins with rust this grow and have had to have the lower sets of leaves removed. Even more unfortunate, this was the same plant I nearly split in 2 after topping and starting LST. This was the strain I was most excited about so come hell or high water I’m not giving up on it. Will be interesting to see if it’s able to bounce back after so much early mutilation. I did notice possible cal mag deficiency in all 4 so I upped the dose to 5ml per gallon. Growing in coco I probably should have had a higher concentration from the start, so I’ll keep that in mind for next time. The other 3 have responded very well to topping and have 2 new thick tops developing. The Blue Sunset Sherbert ended more of a FIM job since I biffed it so much, fingers crossed for a strong recovery this week.
