This week presents a lot of changes for these ladies... First, I'm in the process of dialing in the Bloom nutrients. I've switched them from Floraflex V1, V2, and Veg Foliar to B1, B2, Bloom Foliar, and Bulky B. Give the addition of the Bulky B, I removed their Manganese supplement from the equation. I've also switched out the Fox Farm Cal-Mag with the Botanicare brand. Their dosage of Terpinator is increased and they've began a regimen that includes Rock Resinator. Notably, I'm now following Botanicare's prescribed dosage for the Cal-Mag without any signs of deficiency. After a review of their respective analyses, I'm convinced that the effect is due largely to the increased quality of the Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus over the Fox Farm Bush Doctor. Second, in addition to changes in their nutrient regimen, I've also made some environmental changes. After increasing the intensity of their lighting to 70%, I noticed that the driver was giving off increased heat... so I added a small fan that is dedicated to cooling the driver. Otherwise, the ladies' growth has been off the charts. Flipping them into Bloom has yielded monstrous growth within a relatively short time period. I'm working my way up to increasing their respective feeding solutions to a ½ gallon per plant - with exception to the Apricot Oreoz, as this I'd a much smaller plant that yields excess run-off after roughly ⅓ gallon of feeding solution. The only challenge I'm currently facing is a limited horizontal area for them to grow. I am considering the transition into a SCRoG setup, but I really wouldn't know what I was doing because I am, yet, somewhat of a noob. Notwithstanding, these plants continue to demonstrate substantial growth and I'm excited to observe their continued development. Until next week...

Does anyone have any experience with growing Anesia's Apricot Oreoz seeds? The plant seems to be experiencing a Cal-Mag related nutrient deficiency that the others are not. All plants are being grown under the same conditions. Any suggestions?

She may not have needed the same amounts of food. Always check your runoff waters ph and ec before reacting. Ph can creep when to much salts start building up in the substrate

@FarmerJon, el mejor fertilizante es, la materia gris! Cuando quieras te enseño a hacer: Humato Blood u otros, tu bolsillo lo va a agradecer, y tus plantas también! 😁

@FarmerJon, hmm, keep in mind that overwatering is the most common problem & use a ph/ec tester if you use chemical nutritions, hope thats a little bit helpful:)

I am not sure why but when I try to look at your new diary it says it isn't even there. but i've followed it I can see that it exists. I've seen it recommended and I can see it has been harvested but it just will not let me go in there to look at it. Hopefully you had another good grow. 👍

@WatercanWampa, I'm sorry to hear that, buddy. It was a good grow, and with fairly decent results, too. With that said, the next grow will be featuring some exotic breeds that'll hopefully delight anyone who stumbles into my profile. If you can't see the most recent diary by later tonight, I can just send some pictures over to you directly. Let me know.

I am curious if the Blackberry and black cherry lineage will try to put on some nice dark purple hues here towards these final weeks.

@WatercanWampa, I definitely hope so. I'm kicking myself a little because I wrote off Purpinator as a largely useless supplement for people who are obsessed with all things purple... only to realize that I, too, desire the "purplest" (not sure if that's even a word) of nugs. So I've only been supplementing with Purpinator for a couple of weeks. I don't think it'll be enough time - particularly at this later stage - to heavily influence the coloration of the plants, but some of the fan leaves are starting to "purple up", as it were, so I suppose I'll take that small victory. As to the Frozen Black Cherry in particular, its pistils are taking a bit longer to darken up. I don't know whether this is a feature of the strain or a bug in terms of its development - it's fattening up just fine, but her pistils are white like pure wavelengths from the sun. So we'll see what happens, I suppose. Thanks, again, for writing.
