There was a thunder and rainstorm the day before week 16 and they were overwhelmed at the stalk support and one of plants fell over and was lying on the ground, the branches were ok but they could of used support at this time aswell so nets are useful and so are greenhouses or growing them smaller than this. I added rebar support but they probably need to be tied to the ground but I did tie the rebar to branches and additional rebar if it was sliding around, it isn't a great way but it does work if you tie the rebar from 3 or 4 directions because it can fall over in the container and branches can break. The camera used is taking out of focus photos if it isn't in the middle of the day or late afternoon, we were happy with 5mp cameras at one point. I thought this phone took good photos but id always like to see a better photo. I am satisfied with the image quality during the day but the 6x zoom macro images on the camera were not very good but I was able to see the trichomes up close but it could be a clearer image, so id think someone would spend more on a phone than I did. Id like to see more detail in the tree bark and thats where I would want a more expensive camera as well. There are 3 more weeks of images for veg before the Rockstar starts flowering and im not sure when the Alien OG flowers but I did read that it finishes early October but it could be later. Phones are only sold in the millions of units so if you buy a new phone your not necessarily buying something that is in production as in its already been built and made, there may only be 100 million people that bought a certain particular phone and they didn't make anymore of that model. The temperature in the morning is below 60 °F making it feel like its September and close to October, but were going to see some temperatures in the 90's during August so its not that time of year yet but it feels like it sometimes. It is saying I would of needed to spend double on a phone to get 50MP but mostly I wasn't sure if that was enough or not, this was the least that you could spend and it is somewhat the same, id definitely like to have a high res macro imagery option. There not necessarily affordable to replace them. It isn't saying that I need more mega pixels, im not sure of the difference. The rebar was sliding around slightly on 3 of the plants so I gathered some stone and used that to pull the rebar with a long piece of twist tie, it would be better to build upwards with 4 stakes and cross pieces but I only had rebar. The equionox might effect if I move these plants around to get more sun, the year I grew these before they needed to be moved around but they were in 45 gallon geopots with alot of support to hold them in place so I didn't. The autoflower plant is looking exactly the same as an indoor grown plant in structure and leaf ratio, I know some of them don't look like that but this one did. It probably means that your time is better spent growing alot of them, im not sure what the differences are in effects in comparison to the October finishers that may have a higher leaf ratio, all that I know is that the Rockstar plant was cloudy and substantially strong but didn't look like that in my climate, they need light deprivation. I also think the Alien OG could get pretty large in two weeks if they continue to veg and if they stretch for 3 weeks after I might put them in larger containers and then there finishing to late again, so I couldn't really think about growing these strains without another month of growing season. That was kind of the reason why I regrew the Rockstar outdoors, it is interesting to watch finishing late in the season or not at all. There definitely not really growing out of the forestry industry because its not populated, I think its an exception to grow these, you see the shorter growing seasons and the colder climates, it feels like the earth is square and they can't make it any farther. Day 117 I transplanted the Alien OG from #5 (these ones are 4 1/2 gallons) to #10 gallon and the root looked quite dry at 3pm but there was enough structure in the rootball to transplant and I wouldn't veg them longer in that container size because of the watering frequency. Im watering the Rockstar plants twice per day and there not getting full sun all day and sometimes they are in the shade, so you definitely would want to use larger containers but you can grow a very large plant in a 5 gallon bucket if you water frequently. Id prefer the Rockstar plants to be in 30 gallons at least but that would be around 120 gallons of coco and there 13.275 gallons per bag so your probably spending about 0 and then the containers and thats kind of the reason not to grow 6-12 large plants because it ends up being expensive to grow. What they usually do is find an area with good soil and they till it up and they add manure and organic fertilizers or they use fertilizer injection, its a really interesting idea that you can grow very large fruitful plants in coco but to acquire all of that coco is very expensive. After watering twice on all of the 10 gallon containers I used approximately 45 gallons of water but the Alien OG plants won't use as many gallons per day as the Rockstar plants but it was very hot today.

Drive your stakes into the ground.

@Todzilla,yhea you can pull the rebar with lawn staples probably I like using rock, you can hold the rebar in with a lawn staple if its not in super deep but I could probably hammer it in as deep as the container, I think that for photography purposes the rock explains the plant, its like the sands of time unfolding before you, you can't explain why something so large is so small yet so many times larger.

@blackskaarj1,I use lawn staples in rocky hard soil and it works for stabilization quite well. The staples are the lowest cost and easiest to install. I also have used bamboo, stakes, and rebar. They all work for wind. You just gotta get it done.

@Todzilla,no you can't use lawn staples you need to take a piece of rebar hammer it into the ground and then put a long piece in and your likely to either hit up against another rock or it'll work or not at all.

Hey, you can get a magnifying glass app for your phone that works good enough to see trichomes. No need for a loupe or physical magnifier. Can get good bud pics easily, even using an old phone.

I did feel that not having any structures or roads in the way of the plants as they grow is better visually, the material that the plants are up against affects how you feel about them. Its better than landscaping that you would normally see, its better. I do encounter alot of wildlife though, its definitely there to see. Its my experience vs your idea of what is supposed to be enjoyable and that means I couldn't imagine it being a good idea for August and September because of the fire season but that is what im looking at.
