MiyaguiOkPolilla Hello friends!! This beautiful sprout has already been planted, I chose a nice pot to match my terrace, where other girls will keep it company for a magnificent view. It's 20 liters of BioBizz AllMix with a good amount of trichoderma and agro bacteria inoculated for 10 days. After making the hole, a dose of Mykos mycorrhizae was added to support that beautiful root that was already peeking out 🌱 The substrate was previously mixed with a large amount of homemade humus and compost, where some California worms were added to maintain a lovely life in the soil. We planted a good amount of dwarf clover to improve moisture retention and nitrogen fixation in the substrate, in addition to providing that beautiful, vibrant green color 🌱🌱🌱 For now, there's not much more to say, and I wish everyone great moments 🏄‍♂️🌱💐 IRIE!

MiyaguiOkPolilla Hello growers 🌊🌊🏄‍♂️ Another week has passed for this girl, her first week peeking into the real world, where the heat hits hard but she resists by embracing the sun, pointing her leaves to the sky. That's how I found her today, under the dome we use to maintain a humid environment and give her roots the chance to expand in the airy substrate. 💦♻️ The soil seems to be doing quite well; every time I bury the chopsticks about 4 cm below the surface, it stays moist but not overly wet. She only gets 1 liter of water every two days with a dose of MicroVita® and some goat manure. Not much more to say, just that I want to see that duckfoot phenotype to enjoy it on my terrace, where it receives about 7 hours of direct light and another 8 indirectly. I'll try not to feed with minerals until the fourth week of flowering since I've planned the substrate 🤞🌱 Smokin' love A big shoutout to those beings who are always out there, making the world grow!

MiyaguiOkPolilla Hello friends 🌿 Incredible week for this Auto Duck from Dutch Passion 😍. It's already starting to show its beautiful duck foot phenotype, a gorgeous genetic variety suitable for those who want to guerrilla in a green and lush place or also for balcony growers like us 🛸 Seeing it every day is a surprise; during direct light hours, it develops way too fast, and the indirect hours seem to let it rest a bit, but it doesn't stop working, creating new structures from photosynthesis. This genetic variety is very stable, and under optimal conditions in a tropical area, I think it would be something magnificent. It feeds off the substrate, which is completely inoculated with bacteria, mycorrhizae ⛓️🔗🌳, beneficial fungi 🍄, and trichoderma ♻️, all of which support a great amount of life that can be observed just by digging a little to check the moisture. She's an organic girl 💪😌 There’s no problem with the pot we’re using since it doesn’t heat up in the sun and retains moisture very well. The worms in the substrate must be happy 🤞 In short, this genetic variety is of the highest quality, and it definitely lets me know that I can trust 100% in the responsible seed bank; not just anyone gives away seeds to a community to prove their germination capacity and quality 🙏🎩 Thank you very much for stopping by and taking the time to read and observe. Greetings and much peace to everyone 🤞🏄‍♂️💐

MiyaguiOkPolilla 🌱🌱Hello again 🌱🌱 Great week from the home terrace 🌿🌞 This girl just keeps stretching, I've seriously considered a FIM cut but as the pruning suggests, I don't want to mess her up. She's fantastic. Her leaves have already started to grow, I have to say that the choice of substrate has been the best I've made with an autoflowering. 💥💥 No deficiencies or excesses (AllMix from BioBoom with added humus, California worms, and homemade compost. From waste to sacred food ♻️🍁🍌🏄‍♂️ Thanks to Dutch Passion for this amazing opportunity to share a mutant genetic, which is now very evolved and stable, as this one shows, 1 seed: germination rate 100%, stable phenotype, resistance to local high temperatures of up to 34°C this past week and a relative humidity of up to 86%. This is crazy, people!! She gets direct light for about 4 hours a day but in an unbearable way, still, she stays perfectly fine and the substrate remains moist and light at the same time. Some pests come by but she resists, potassium soap 2 times a week is enough. The first pistils are peeking out, we kick off a new week in the next update 😍. I hope I've planned my grows well because I don't want any excesses, the harvest time has to be exact 🤤🤤💐 IRIE! 🙌

MiyaguiOkPolilla Hello fellow growers!! Great week for this wonderful girl 😍🌿 She has stretched 10 centimeters since last week, she has been feeding well, a dose every 3 days of bat guano ferment, cornmeal, molasses, worm humus, and a mix of bacteria and mycorrhizae from Top Crop and agrobacteria ♻️🌱 Thanks to the community, I decided 15 days ago to make a fermented juice of fruits and vegetables (celery, carrot, apple, banana, tomatoes, basil, spinach, bee honey, and coconut pulp). After fermenting, I proceeded to keep the solution in a water bath at 50ºC for 1 hour to evaporate possible alcohols and then stored it in the fridge for 24 hours. She seems to really like this feeding, she is phenomenal, has reduced the little yellow she had, and has become very strong during the first stage of flowering! 💃 Foliar applications every 2 days with Acti Vera, Delta 9, trichoderma, and homemade kombucha from red fruits. This way we are stimulating flower formation, preventing harmful fungi, and strengthening the immune system. She responds very well to the treatment 👌🌿 Some thrip attacks but I’m not worried, I’ve never seen a plant die from these insects, I only fear spider mites. With the neem powder we spread around the garden plus the mix with the substrate, there are no signs of these killers 💥💪 I found a hairy caterpillar eating some of her sweet leaves, it has been removed and placed in a more pleasant habitat for her 🙏 Auto ducK from Dutch Passion is an incredible plant, responds quickly to treatments, is resilient, and very beautiful, the phenotype is 100% stable!! She is one of those girls that I love to see, pamper, and give a lot of attention to but without being overwhelming... I hope to obtain good quality terpenes from this wonderful plant. I already have plans for her last two weeks of flowering and to work with her in partial shade to avoid possible degradation of trichomes from the ultra-powerful UV rays of the area’s sun 🤞🌞🌿💥 Any recommendations are welcome and thanks for being here and sharing this pleasure of growing, I am so grateful to be constantly learning 🙏 IRIE!

MiyaguiOkPolilla Hello growers and other beings!! 👽🏄‍♂️ Excellent week on the terrace of my sweet home... The spoiled girl is more than comfortable, I can notice a slight deficiency in her leaves with some yellowing, it seems to be iron deficiency and we will try to correct it with chelates this week 🤞 She has already started generating flowers with a lot of strength, so we applied a dose of guano and bacteria ferment along with food for them, the soil is alive!! I would like to see how this girl behaves in the middle of a dry and arid field but with good watering and feeding habits 😅 She seems resistant to pests, there are mealybugs on my terrace and they don't affect her, a preventive application is never too much, so every 5 days she gets her dose of potassium soap, neem oil, and propolis 💪💪 despite everything, I let the thrips do their work because I like to see how she reacts to the attacks. I have to congratulate Dutch Passion for the work, the plant apparently meets the 3 main parameters for commerce (fast, resistant, and we still have to see the final size) She is beautiful, my wife sits in front of her while petting our little dog... It's so livable... ❤️

MiyaguiOkPolillastarted grow question 3y ago
Hey guys, I have this question: To my understanding, this could be an iron deficiency. But I know there are great leaf readers here who might have a clearer idea about this. If so, would it be safe to apply in the form of chelates via foliar?

I agree its magnesium, I don't see any spotting suggesting calcium is lacking but its a common component of magnesium supplements for cannabis. calcium and magnesium aka calmg or CaMg. If you know the calcium is fine in the medium no sense adding more, you can use common bath salts magnesium sulphate to give it some extra Mg. Little goes a long way. 1 teaspoon per gal of water. to start then go from there. Good Luck!

MiyaguiOkPolilla Hello everyone!! Another great week for this duck foot 💐 After seeing the responses from last week regarding a deficiency issue and discussing with other growers, we concluded that it needed a bit of Iron (Fe), which we supplied in chelates via foliar spray, in addition to a Magnesium deficiency that was also added through foliar in 3 applications and one via watering. Many comments suggested that CalMag was needed, and thank goodness we didn't do that because the Calcium deficiency in this girl doesn't exist and could affect the soil pH too much, which is currently at 7.0 🤞 Aside from all this, she is doing well, growing, and has already started to form her own trichomes. I hope that with the method, almost one hundred percent organic, she produces good quality terpenes and THC levels. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be great to discuss them to ensure a healthier grow with a bit fewer deficiencies 🤞 A treatment of potassium soap and diatomaceous earth to deal with thrips and prevent other insects in the area (whiteflies, caterpillars, and miners) Thank you all for taking your time and being part of this beautiful community!! MiyaguiOkPolilla Hello friend! A horrible week for this duckfoot 💀 - it all started with that magnesium and iron deficiency two weeks ago, she received her treatment, but not in the most effective way.. it all led to severe stress along with the pests that have always been lurking... Last week we were out of the house for 3 full days and my work hours have been extended, so I had little time to take care of her. Upon returning from the trip, the red spiders had set up camp on the delicate leaves of this girl, the heat and humidity in my area are a breeding ground for this plague 💀☠️ For the pests, we applied a homemade neutral soap treatment, with a pH of about 6.0 using lemon peels and diatomaceous earth... As soon as we applied it, we rinsed with pure water and 10% hydrogen peroxide. The process is repeated for 3 days. A little defoliation was done ✂️🍂🍁 Today, some good grower friends from Growdiaries recommended using pyrethrins, this week I will find out what it’s about and will resort to them if necessary. I feel like I’ve swept away the few trichomes that were on the plant but she will recover 🤞 Thanks Fharo and Nonick!!🙌 Despite all this, she’s fattening up, the main cola is forming nicely and she still has a way to go 🌿💐 A big hug to everyone and lots of strength, we all need a little 🙏 IRIE!

MiyaguiOkPolilla Hello my people!! Here with a lot of work and very little time, coordinating 2 jobs of 8 hours is not easy at all ☠️ Last week I couldn't take photos of any plants since I barely got home at night and used that time to water the girls and go back to sleep instantly 😂✨ This girl is still standing, she doesn't seem to have worsened in terms of pests, but we're repeating the control process 3 times a week. This week she'll only receive pure distilled water in foliar to wash away any possible soap and diatomaceous earth residues, the buds are airy so I'm not worried about mold formation 🤞🌬️💐 Watering has been reduced to just 2 times a week, letting the substrate dry well between them to improve root oxygenation. Thanks to everyone for taking the time and supporting this project! I gotta go, I have to keep working 😬. Just 2 more weeks and that's it... A big hug!!

MiyaguiOkPolilla Hello, friends! Another week for the little one at home, I'm amazed at her height, which is already reaching 56 centimeters, being a great plant resistant to the adversities we've faced. After recovering from the spider mite infestation, she has created this beautiful and potent layer of aromatic trichomes, it reminds me of Gorilla Glue with a little citrus and lavender touch... From now on, she will only receive rainwater and enzymes for about 2 or 3 weeks of ripening. I will replant the strain next week, taking advantage of the remaining sun and the temperatures dropping, so I can avoid those ugly pests a bit more, all to see how the results turn out without too much stress 🌱 A big hug to everyone!

MiyaguiOkPolilla Hello colleagues!! A great week here, the girl is stretching a bit, her buds are reaching for the sun with a bit more resin and an intense aroma of pine, citrus, and incense... She has recovered strongly from the spider mite attacks and looks splendid. In my area, everyone is suffering from spider mites and they are sweating and crying to combat the nasty plague. The soil is now only watered with rainwater at pH 7. I won't use root flushing because there's definitely no correlation between doing it or not when the feeding is almost completely organic; there are too many studies that prove it, and this way I can reuse the soil for other vegetable crops without ruining its nutrients 🌱🏞️✨ Not much to say, we'll just leave her for another week or about 10 days until we have a 10% maturity in trichomes 😁 we're going for euphoria 😂 A big hug to everyone and lots of encouragement always, friends!!

Hola amigo!

MiyaguiOkPolilla Hello growers! What a surprise we got with this beautiful plant, honestly it has been stunning in its initial stage, once flowering started it began to stress, maybe due to the overly warm climate, a bit of excess relative humidity and moisture in its substrate, or some deficiency... honestly, I'm not sure, but pests love this girl... I've seen other diaries where they've had problems with fungi that thanks to the trichoderma and its spiky shape haven't happened here 🤞 Honestly, it smells so good, a piney, acrid scent and other smells I can't decipher but they bring back some memories of gorilla. We really enjoy watching it grow on our terrace, we believe that if it were in a flat spot with sun from dawn to dusk it would have almost doubled in size but even so, it's almost 60cm of pure love! Now we just have to wait and see what the smoke test brings us... Cheers to everyone and keep it up, fellow growers!! 💐 IRIE 💐

It looks really good one more week. It seems you've corrected that deficiency because the spots haven't gotten worse. Maybe a watering with hummus tea can give you a boost of macro and micronutrients.

@MiyaguiOkPolilla, about the Epsom salts, in the end, it's magnesium sulfate, so if you see crystals on the leaves again, the application ratio should definitely be lower than what you've done, because that means the salt has desolved and the crystals have formed again. I would give it a gentle wash.

It looks very pretty despite that slight deficiency. I agree with you that it seems more like Fe than CalMag. Here it seems like everyone fixes things with CalMag....
MiyaguiOkPolilla
MiyaguiOkPolilla commented3y ago
@nonick123, 😂 it's true hahaha... The truth is that we're more than sure that Calcium and Magnesium aren't needed here because of the local water (I use boiled tap water once a week) which is extremely hard 💪💪 Good point about how people use CalMag like crazy 😂
XII_XII_MrGreen
XII_XII_MrGreen commented3y ago
@nonick123, calcium and magnesium is what we all need my friends.. mostly it's enough when you add it in veggie week 2,3,4 or more when you do longer veggie.. 😎👍
nonick123
nonick123 commented3y ago
@XII_XII_MrGreen, buddy, I don't argue that it's often a CalMag issue, but @MiyaguiOkPolilla and I live in an area in the east of Spain where the water is extremely hard with a high percentage of Calcium and Magnesium, so in his case, I don't think it's a CalMag problem. On the other hand, my comment is because many people in the community, when they see a deficiency in the leaves, 95% of the time respond "hit it with CalMag." I suppose that sometimes it might be true, but I think we need to stop and think a little or analyze the grow diary more. Bro @XII_XII_MrGreen this isn't a comment about you, please don't take offense, it's something general that I see in the forum. @XII_XII_MrGreen your grows show that you have good knowledge :-)
