Week 12: Fifth Flowering Week Hello dear weed friends, I’m back with my twelfth weekly report on my grow with four different strains: Lemon Gelato, Orange Sherbert, Apple Fritter and Bruce Banner. This week was very quiet for me, because I only watered and fertilized my plants and watched them grow. The buds are already very well formed and smell very pleasant. But I already think to see that the plants will not come close to the mass of the first grow. However, the quality will precede the quantity, as I have the temperatures much lower this time. Here are the details: This week I followed the fertilizer schedule of Biobizz, which now really gives full throttle. I used all options of the fertilizer, which you can read in the fertilizer directory. But I have already reduced the microbes, because I start flushing in 21 days. This is supposed to free the plants from the excess nutrients and improve the taste. The plants still drink a lot of water, but not as much as in the stretch phase. I water my plants as needed with 6 liters of water each, to which I add 100 percent of the recommended fertilizer schedule. I make sure that the water has a good pH value to optimize nutrient uptake. I installed a quick water filter this week to get some purer water. My household water is not perfect and has a high degree of hardness. This can lead to lime deposits and salinization. I want to connect an osmosis system next year, which filters and softens the water even better. The buds are already very well formed and will soon get bigger. I expect them to gain a lot of mass and resin in the next few weeks. I’m looking forward to the harvest, which will be in about 4-5 weeks. The plants look very healthy and have only little signs of deficiency or over-fertilization. They all have a nice color and shine in the light. The Lemon Gelato still has her genetic defect, which shows itself in a whitish color of some leaves, but that does not seem to harm her. She has many beautiful buds and smells very fruity.
