Week 16: Ninth flowering week
Hello dear weed friends,
I’m back with my sixteenth weekly report on my grow with four different strains: Lemon Gelato, Orange Sherbert, Apple Fritter and Bruce Banner. This week was very exciting for me, because I harvested the first plant and the others are close to it. The buds are already very ripe and smell very delicious. The terpene profiles are now perfectly developed and I am happy with all of them. I am very satisfied with the harvest process, which I will document in 2 days. Here are the details:
This week I harvested the Apple Fritter, which was already very ripe. It had many brown hairs and milky as well as amber trichomes, which means that it was ripe. I quickly chopped it off, unfortunately I had to wet-trim it, because otherwise I had no space for it. I have a mini drying tent for hanging with fan and activated carbon with different compartments, my brother has already tested this and found it good. I am not a fan of wet-trimming, but what has to be done, has to be done. I carefully removed the leaves from the buds and placed them in the compartments. I will let them dry there until they are crispy. Then I will store them in jars with Boveda packs to cure them. This is supposed to improve the aroma and potency.
The other strains are not quite ripe yet, but they are on a good way. They still have some white hairs and milky trichomes, which means that they still need some time. In 2 weeks the Orange Sherbert and Lemon Gelato will follow, in the 3rd week then the Bruce Banner, if everything goes smoothly. I will harvest them according to the same principle, dry and cure them like the Apple Fritter only the bruce banner gets a special gentle treatment and is allowed to dry in one piece, otherwise it is not possible to create a completely regulated environment for my buds to dry
The buds are already very ripe and smell very delicious. I am thrilled by the different aromas and colors. The Lemon Gelato has a full-bodied cream-lemon aroma that makes my mouth water. It also has a nice purple color that comes from its cool environment. The Orange Sherbert has a fruity orange aroma that is very refreshing. It also has a nice orange color that comes from its hairs. The Bruce Banner has a strong diesel aroma that is very potent. It also has a nice purple color but only at the edge of the leaves.
The Bruce Banner shocked me this week, I had not checked any trichomes before and was shocked by the density of trichomes. I have never seen anything like this. I have an example of my other plants and for comparison the crazy Bruce Banner, I think it will have great potential.
I thank you for your attention and hope that you liked my report. I am looking forward to the next weeks and am curious how my plants will develop further. See you soon!

@GrowWithFlow,Thank you dude, yes this is my second grow in a lifetime. Your plants look really outstanding, enjoy your west coast o.g. and don’t glue your hands together when trying 😅
@Schneidersitz,Vielen Dank, mein Freund.
Das klingt nach einem guten Plan. Du kannst dich gerne in meinem Zelt entspannen,
Thank you for your kind comment, Dolfom. I'm glad you like the plants.
You're right, the growth phase is an exciting time in which you can observe and influence changes. I fell so much better now to work with the plant.
I'm excited to see how the plants will develop further. They are much better than my first attempt.😍
I hope you stay tuned and watch the next episodes. 😊👌@Dolfom,
Wow buddy!! super nice buds
What an amazing grow so far - good job and well done 🤝
Happy Growing & cant wait for your upcoming weeks 🌱
Cheers, Bud Boutique 👩🌾
@BudBoutique, Thank you man, I can only return the compliment.
The next 2 weeks are very important for me, because after that I will hardly be able to count on mass production.
Thank you, see you soon.
@Wastent91, Thanks for your nice comment. I'm glad you like the little girls.
They are very hyperactive and I have to train and play with them every day.
They are growing very quickly now.
I also wish you good luck and great harvests. 😊
Bon Weed
☮️
@Dolfom,I can understand that with the branches, this grow a branch broke off when I removed the tent, which is now growing super strong and rich in buds, sometimes pain helps. I will do a sensi run again for the 4th grow, I was thrilled with the first one and my wife wants CBD from Sensi. If something happens with the legalization here next year, maybe outdoor. I will definitely add some newer ones from the research program, the strains sound just too delicious, take care and see you soon brother
@Dolfom, Jo Buddy, they are not developing the way I want them to, apart from the Apple Fritter, but that can still change later. I have decided to stick with my old techniques and perfect them first. i have to check u out now ✌️.
@Still_Smoq,The end is always like chewing gum, really tough but so nice how they smell this time it is easy to bear, thank you for your visits and great comments.👇
Thank you Dolfom, I really appreciate what you say. Sensi Seeds is the most famous producer of seeds in my country, that’s why I used them and was not disappointed as expected. I will visit Amsterdam in 2 days and there also hopefully be able to make my decision for new strains, visits to Sensi and Barneys are planned and I am very happy maybe to test a few strains that I already have in the tent. And again thank you for the congratulations, I would have rated other growers higher but I am happy because of that only more.
I’m enjoying a drag of my Sensi Skunk now and look forward to hearing from you soon. Peace🙌
Jo dude, thanks for your comment, I’m also curious how it will turn out and whether they will look very different, which I hope to give my grow title some meaning, when do you plan to start a new run and do you have any ideas for strains?
Hi Chef , yes indeed, I was not satisfied with the video quality here on the site and I have been waiting for a long time for an answer from the support regarding the video formats and sizes that I can use, nice that you like it👊, I think I will make the videos only accessible via the link until the grow is finished and then make it public and slowly build up the channel.✊
@PapaNugs,Thank you for your positive comment. I am honored by your reaction.
I'm much more confident than the first time. I look forward to learning different techniques and improving mine in the future.
This community and people like you are both inspiration and teachers. ! 👏 👏 👏
Hello Dolfom, based on your results I would not call your lamps rubbish, but yes I can understand you. Better is always possible.
I can only recommend the lamp to you.
I hope for good to very good development in this week. It remains exciting how they develop.
Thank you for your visits, it is always an honor for me.✊
