This strain is the most frosty, trichome-covered one I have grow sofar. Especially one of the two plants had thick trichome-covered buds and leafs ️ The colors were radiant purple and pink on the leafs and the buds were pink to dark purple. I encountered no real problems during this grow, apart from the black flies that hitched a ride into my growbox with the organic soil. I can't say they impacted the result in any noticeable way .

Reviews. Nutrient
Great supplement!
Everytime I use Plagron the harvest results are beyond expectations. It really helps to increase the yield and quality of the harvest. Plants are healthy and strong during the entire grow and flower cycle and no mold or pest issues.
Siginificantly improves the soil health and drainage!
Reviews. Lamp
A growlight that makes the plants go wild
Reviews. Tent
A nice, safe and discrete way to grow Cannabis in your home. Love the design, easy to clean and it has enough vertical space to grow some serious plants.

Harvest day ✌️✌️✌️ The Fruity Donutz were ready for harvest yesterday. I could have waited until there were a few more amber trichomes, but I wanted to harvest them just before the new moon. This is because the sap flow is calmer at that time, which helps the plants dry faster. At least according to the Biodynamic farming principles. The ideal time would be in 2 weeks form now, but the plants would have withered by then. I used to prefer wet trimming, but since the last few harvests I just remove the biggest fanleafs and cut the plants by the main stem and hang them in the drying tent. It takes much longer to dry, but the taste is just so much better. Now that autumn is kicking in the temperatures inside are perfect for drying (19 - 20 degrees Celcius and around 50% humidity. I use a sensor in my drying tent to keep track of the humidity. It started out at 69% and is now slowly descending to 67/66%. The smell of the plants is very intense, mostly red fruit, ripe fruit and pungent. Of course the actual tast will evolve during the cure but I'm already looking forward to the first vape after drying. Stay tuned for the smoke report! 💨💨💨 Smoke report 💨💨💨 After trying both phenos in my PaxPlus, the tagline for this grow has to be "Life is like a box of Donutz, you never know what you gonna get" 😅. The plants show a big variety in appearance and taste as well. The first pheno, the one covered in resin, has a strong ripe banana taste with a little bit of gas. The effect is a strong body stone, but not too much so you can still socialize. Also gives a very pleasant buzz in the head. The second purple pheno has more of a gassy flavor to start with. After a few hits, when the weed is at it's optimal temperature, the sweet red fruit taste reveals itself. And sure enough, this one does leave a kind of pastry taste in my mouth. The effect is a strong head high that kicks in almost immidiately after the first hit. Since these buds still have to cure I think the taste will be even better in a few months. But it's amazing to see how good they taste "right off the branch" ✌️. I'm so glad I still have two seeds in the fridge so I can grow these ladies again. Finally, the yield in this round was beyond expectations. 194 grams from two plants in a .35 square cm is a more than decent harvest. 1,43 grams per watt is also a great result. Thanks for following along and for the uplifting comments 🙏😊 See you in the next grow!

It´s not only about sticking-traps . You need to eliminate all the larvae , cause they are the problem . Just use some nematodes , it´ll work quickly and safe ! Good luck , Growmie
SnakeGrow
SnakeGrowcommented5 months ago
@Zengrower, welcome , buddy !! Yeah , i tried mites just once , as i found nematodes to be the terminal solution 😁💀😂😂 . And yeah , most times it´s much more than expected . The yellow stick-traps are mostly for controll of infestation and also to catch the adult gnats ( black fungus gnats / bot. Sciara analis) , but dem larvae are (imo) only really affected by nematodes (you could also use Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis , but more as prevention) . So if you have many adul gnats , there are a bunch more larvae . Also you should watch your watering , as too humid substrate will get all those gnats round you attracted 😳 Edit : those yellow stick-traps loock quite full 😌 if you calculate 1 female gnat will lay up to 200 eggs , you might get a clue of how many of the larvea are feasting on your plant´s roots (as the larvae normally eat fungi (those fungi helping your plant to live , and as there are not many of those fungi in a pot , as you can imagine , they´ll switch to roots )👻

@SnakeGrow, Thanks mate! I also used mites to take care of the larvae. But I guess there are more bugs than I anticipated 😬
