-Quikz the Strawberry Milkshake "strain" from Exotic Genetics. My wife wanted to grow this, and I think she made a great choice. I've been looking for strong strawberry terps for a long time.
-Planet of the Grapes hits you hard on the couch - Producer
-GRC x BBC F2 (Grape Rock Candy x Banana Buttercup) from Square One Genetics the Frost Monster
Until the big ladies are ready in about a week and dried, the little babies can start germinating.
Day 0 on 01.09.
-The seeds went into the jar today with 0.1 liters of distilled water and 2 drops of Plagron Seedbooster. I’m just continuing to use it after successfully germinating over 10-year-old Skunk#1 with it. Even though these are new seeds, a few drops are enough for that little bottle to last until I'm 100 years old.😏
-After 24 hours, a bit of Enhancer from Greenhouse Feeding goes into the jar for the next 24 hours. Seaweed, humic acids, and some microbes do the little seeds good and give them a great start to grow big and strong.💪
After 48 hours, when the root is 1 to 2 cm long, they will be planted in my soil mix (2 parts BioBizz Lightmix, 1 part Canna Professional, 1 part Extra Perlite, and a handful of worm humus). Even though there’s already perlite in the soil, very young seedlings like fluffy soil and the extra oxygen, which is why the extra dose of perlite.
Then the soil will be watered for the first time with root boosters and microbes from Great White and Dynomyco, which still has the most endo-mycorrhiza spores per gram.
Bigger Roots = Bigger Fruits😉

Stony_German Sunday Day 1 Veg:
The emergency OP on the PotG was successful. However, since I wasn't sure, I planted another seed next to the patient, and it looks like the little one is recovering very slowly. Since the sister next to it is only 4 days behind the others, I'll decide in a few days which of the two stays. From my experience, such a problem can drag on for a long time and cause more issues, but we'll see.
I watered a bit, which is usually necessary after a week. They have all stayed nice and short and don't need any support, but we'll see that in the next few days when the first real leaves get bigger. Aside from a bit of mycorrhiza and 50ml of mineral water mixed 50/50 with distilled water, they don't need any fertilizer or other additives in week 1. You only go wrong here if you mean well and add things that aren't needed anyway.

Stony_German Veg week 2 has begun. The seeds went into the water glass exactly 14 days ago.
The current problem is that in the same room where the little ones are, I also have the last Super Terpy harvest drying, and outside the temperatures have dropped significantly. Drying at 17-19 °C is great for a top-quality end product, but for the little ones, it's a bit too cold, and you can see that. It's by no means dramatic, but I'm just a perfectionist, and it weighs on my soul.
To counteract this a bit, the little ones are on a heating mat that I set to 26 °C. And I will set the timer to 19 hours to keep the even colder night phase as short as possible. At the request of Growbros, I will also include more info or opinions in the pictures in this report.

Stony_German Tag 14 veg and exactly 21 days after the seeds went into the glass of water.
I'm doing a test run with BioTabs in this grow and I'm curious how it will compare to Greenhouse Bio Feeding in the end. This run is not a sponsored grow, so I will continue to use my favorite additives. I was contacted by 2 mineral fertilizer manufacturers, but I see my future more in organic growing. Even though mineral fertilizers have given me good results for many years.
To give the tabs enough time to become available, I planted the young ladies directly into the final 20l pot this time. I mixed 100g of Startrex with the soil per pot, and 3 Bio Tabs were pressed about 10 cm into the soil. For soil, I mixed my leftovers of BioBizz Lightmix and Canna Professional about 50/50. Additionally, I added about 10% perlite for better aeration and a 3-4 cm layer of clay balls at the bottom of the fabric pots for better drainage. When repotting, I added Mycotrex and Dynomyco to the planting hole (for greater bio-diversity), and then watered with Bactrex, Great White, and Orgarex about 10% of the pot volume, so 2l per fabric pot. BioCanna Rhizotonic, Alfaboost, and Mono-Silica were also added to the watering. That should be enough for at least the next 7 days. This week, I will also start spraying the leaves with Canna Cure and AlfaBoost 1-2 times a week (it's like manure and has a lot of auxins, cytokinins, amino acids, enzymes, plant and root hormones like triacontanol, gibberellin, and who knows what else, and very importantly - silicic acid) as the start of my IPM.

Two days ago, I decided to top after the 5th node. The ladies are very bushy, probably due to the blue spectrum of the veg LED. I have the Sanlights only 45 cm away and I'm giving the ladies 400 PPFD for 4 to 5 days so they stretch a bit, then I'll increase it to 500-550 PPFD.
I will probably remove the little Quikz and give the space to the other 3, letting them stay in veg a bit longer. After 8 days post-transplant, I also gave a bit of Alfaboost, Silica, and Rhizotonic with 1.5 liters of water per pot. In about 5 days, I will water with a brewed worm compost tea.

I started a bit of LST this week to open up the plants a little. Cut off some leaves. The roots are now better developed, and enough photosynthesis is happening so the ladies won’t be bothered by my little interventions. Now the girls are going full throttle, and in 14 days it will be time to switch to 12/12. I'm still hesitating, but I think the little quikz will be out of here soon; for now, she’s not bothering any of her sisters.
A few days ago, I brewed a 24-hour compost tea from worm humus with Orgatrex, and since there was too much NPK in it, I added a teaspoon of Goldsaft (the yellow beet syrup from the supermarket) as an additional sugar source and then brewed it. The ladies love it and immediately thanked me with praying. The LEDs are at 60% but still 40 cm away. The PPFD is about 550 - 600, and the VPD is at 1.1, just how I like it. At this time of year, it’s all easy to achieve. BioTabs has been working without any issues so far, and everything looks healthy and vibrant. 😎

Stony_German Tag 42 Veg:
Over the week, I started with LST and cleared the leaf canopy of large leaves so that light reaches as many shoots as possible. The GrapeRockCandy x BananaButtercup has such strong side branches that bending has to be done extremely carefully; I had to secure one snap with tape despite all the caution and pressing and softening the branches before bending. I'm sure it will carry the thickest buds without support. As described, the POTG has strong side branches fixed and is pushing them out nicely. The Quikz#1 is close to my favorite structure, and #2 has also opened up from its ball shape.
Everything shows a more Indica growth pattern, and I hope the stretch stays moderate. This week has been a bit stressful for the teenage plants since I've been removing leaves every 3 days and did a little lollipopping yesterday. The somewhat shaved legs were full of shoots that wouldn't make it up in the end anyway.
For the next 7 days, I won't do anything except push a leaf down or to the side here and there. The enhancer from Greenhouse Feeding, full of humic acids, seaweed, and microbes, is stress-reducing, and I love it. The watering is always adjusted to a pH between 6 and 6.5.
After defoliating and lollipopping, I sprayed an IPM with Cannacure, then with Silica, and 2 days later with Lactobacillus on all the leaves, adding Bionova Yucca Extract as a wetting agent. This week is all about doing nothing except watering and giving the ladies a calm week. PPFD is 500-600, VPD is 1.1-1.3, so everything is as it should be. 😎

At the end of week 7, starting today, I'll be reducing the light by 1 hour daily so that my ladies can gradually get used to the 12/12 schedule and have a few more days of growth before the stretch begins. The grow tent is almost full, and I will be putting up the trellis net tomorrow. Two days ago, I defoliated a bit again and removed pointless shoots that wouldn't make it up anyway. They now need 2 - 2.5 liters every 2 days. Power buds from Plagron will also be given with every watering starting today, and Alfaboost will now be given at 1 ml/l more. They also received a top dress with worm humus to improve the soil life a bit. Normally, I would have given the Bloom fertilizer from Greenhouse Bio Feeding as a top dress now, but I'm trusting BioTabs that there's enough of everything. We'll see. I also gave Orgatrex and Baktrex this morning after a little dryback. Now begins the best time of every grow, but also the paranoia about how the stretch will be 😅.

Everything is ready for the stretch. Since I'm away for a few days with my family, the AC Infinity self-watering system is filled and the pots are fully watered. I expect zero problems, but we’ll see. At this stage, the ladies drink a lot. Lollipopping as always at the end of week 3, I’ve done a little defoliation. Throughout the week, I've been spending 1 hour less each day, so today we are at 2 days on 12/12. For me, flowering always starts when the ladies get 12 hours. I've also started giving the flowering boosters that don’t affect the NPK or EC values. BioNova Freeflow is my wetting agent made from yucca extract and is significantly better than B.A.C. Yuccah since only 10% of the amount of B.A.C. is needed. No fungus gnats or other bugs. The IPM with Canna Cure and nematodes, along with spraying Compost Tea and lactic acid bacteria in Alfaboost, has definitely prevented anything that could harm the ladies.

The stretch is in full swing, and so far only the Planet of the Grapes is stretching a bit less, but it also shows the fewest signs of flower formation, which makes me suspect it will catch up. 🙏 Let's hope for the best. My wife's Quikz look stunning. Dark, healthy, and robust. The ladies have already done a bit of defoliation before switching to 12/12, but around day 20-22, there will be some serious lollipopping. I’m not in the mood for trim jail. 😏
My favorite from rubbing the branches is the GrapeRockCandy x Banana Buttercup. 👌 If the terps go in that fresh lemony direction, I’d be happy; it’s been a while since I had something like that in the garden. The POTG has a Chem Dawg-like vibe, and I’m already looking forward to chilling on the couch and chasing the munchies. Quikz has a bit of Gelato in it. But these are just first impressions and far from what will come out in the end. It does show the direction, though.
I always have to smoke a doobie before I open my tent. 😨 I’ve had stretch paranoia 😂 since I got this 180cm grow tent. But it looks good; the Bl. Cupcake from the last run grew significantly taller, so it’s just a matter of hoping and 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏. The next report will come as always next weekend. Thanks to everyone who follows my grows and messages me directly. I promised you more pictures, and I hope you like them.

I had to do the lollipopping on day 18 because of visitors and work, unfortunately. It's not a big problem now since the buds have developed everywhere, but I usually do it starting from day 21. Otherwise, they received a P+K booster compost tea, silica, and my standard enhancers and boosters. The ladies were then finally spread out in the scrog net to ensure as much light as possible evenly hits all the buds. The VPD of 1.1 could be a bit higher, but the defoliation will show us the new values in a day or two after the pots are sometimes full and sometimes empty. The LED gives the ladies between 700-1000 PPFD. That works. The sf nematodes were watered today on day 19 of flowering with the enhancers from Greenhouse Feeding. There were a few fungus gnats here and there, but as everyone knows, it never gets better; it only gets worse if you do nothing about it.

The stretch is thankfully over and has been problem-free. The lollipopping on day 18 was well tolerated. The buds are now getting bigger and need the most phosphorus in their entire life cycle. The P+K Booster Compost Tea is therefore enriched with sugar from Orgatrex and extra PK - 5-8 + extra Great White. The Greenhouse Feeding Enhancer ensures happy ladies with seaweed and humic and fulvic acids and also has a high potassium content.
The self-watering system from AC Infinity works very well, even with the few downsides when working with organic additives. I pour all additives from the top into the pots. I only fill water with silica and a few drops of Cal-Mag from the bottom. Anyone who has grown with HPS before will agree that LED significantly increases Cal-Mag needs. I'm starting to like self-watering. Yes, it's hard to convince an old horse of something. I stubbornly would have loved this when I was still using mineral nutrients.
As for the smells that are already showing the direction it's going:
Quikz#1 is sweet, lightly fresh, but not very strong yet.
Quikz#2 is very sweet candy and is leaning more towards candy, and yes, it's already going in the strawberry direction. It's already extremely loud, as they say.
Planet of The Grapes is unexpectedly fruity, but a chemical note is already coming through and very frosty for this early stage, also strongly noticeable.
GrapeRockCandy x Banana Buttercup is a bit behind in intensity; I can't say much about it yet, but the trichomes are starting to frost up, hitting the mark. The terps will come through.
The ladies are getting a solid 800-900 PPFD, and I'm trying to keep the VPD between 1.2 and 1.5. And I'm annoying my wife 😁😂 because I let as little air in through the windows as possible. The CO² is well up to 700-800ppm in the house thanks to all of us. 👌

Stony_German Tag 32 Flowering:
The buds are increasing in size; there’s nothing to do but make sure they’re always properly watered.
I’ve noticed that the BioTabs are running out of steam a bit. I was able to maintain the VPD very well, and the consistently higher CO² levels of 750-800+ ppm seem to have given the ladies a bit of a strong boost. Therefore, I’m going back to a full dose of Orgatrex + PK 5-8 instead of using the Gold Syrup as a sugar source in the PK Booster Compost Tea from BioTabs. It contains more readily available nutrients.
The fading seems to be happening a bit too early for me. But for 32 days, they are already very well developed and have a lot of frost. It’s only halfway through the flowering period, and the buds are still swelling. So far, I’m satisfied and will wait it out. I’m mostly sticking to the feeding schedule.
This week, I also gave a dose of CalMagSi. I’ll keep adding that until the last week.
After 10 days of keeping the self-watering base filled, I’m going to let it dry out a bit again. The dryback allows oxygen to reach the roots. On Sunday, I’ll water with Greenhouse Feeding Enhancer, adding King Crab (bacteria that make phosphorus available and mobilize potassium).
Additionally, I’m brewing a compost tea for probably the last time. We’ll see.
I wonder if it might also be due to the genetics that the ladies are lighter because purple is slowly appearing everywhere, sometimes more, sometimes less. The Quikz in the front remains nice and dark. All the ladies have received the same amount of fertilizer and have pulled as much water as they wanted.
For the next few times, I’ll water the pots every 2 days to distribute the fertilizer better. I’m not sure if I’m a fan of the tabs. We’ll see at the final result.

The early fading of the GRC x BBC and the POTG shows me that the ladies are very hungry. BioTabs suggested I hang my LED a bit higher, but I think it was more the self-watering since I had to be away for a few days. I did add 10% extra perlite, but I think I should have added more for the self-watering. If the soil is too wet, nutrient uptake doesn’t work perfectly either.
The ladies are now getting 700-750 PPFD at a fairly constant VPD of 1.3-1.5. I always adjust the pH between 6.3 and 6.8; I don't take it too precisely as long as it’s in that range.
I water every 2 days with 2 - 2.5 liters so that the roots get enough oxygen with Ogatrex and PK 5-8. As long as I don’t see signs of slight over-fertilization, they get extra nutrients from that.
In a few days, I’ll remove some leaves that are shading the buds, but only what’s bothering me.
I also gave the ladies a P+K booster compost tea. I think that was the last time. They’ve had it for 4 weeks now.
The smell is now so strong that I can’t leave the grow box open for long without the whole house stinking of a sour-skunky odor.
POTG has now become sweeter, more towards Chem-Dawg as I know it, and the buds are getting really fat.
GRC x BBC is absolutely unique, with almost no pistils and heading in a nutty direction.
Quikz#1 has red fruits but is sour, and you can see this is not a strain that brings high yields, more like medium.
Quikz#2 is still strawberry sweet and perversely sweet again, but also more of a medium yield.
In the end, I’m satisfied and looking forward to the harvest between Christmas and New Year.

Fading and colors are becoming more intense. This week, I gave the enhancer twice with a 5-day interval and added bacteria to boost potassium and make the remaining nutrients available. The smaller drybacks aren't ideal for the soil life, but a little stress here and there makes my buds stickier.
I love this phase, and how nice it is to sit in front of my grow box and admire this beautiful plant.
Meanwhile, the smell is so extreme that despite the activated carbon filter, the apartment still smells. Just opening the grow box is enough. 😁 I'm glad we don't have to worry about that and can finally enjoy this most beautiful hobby in the world legally after so many years.
The smell is becoming more and more gassy. This grow with a lot of fruity sour-gas notes will probably be one of the tastiest harvests this year. It's going to be a Christmas feast. OK, the trim jail is waiting, but even though we all complain, in the end, we love it. 😉

The ladies are now only getting pH 6.3 adjusted tap water that has been aerated for 24 hours. The last 3 times I watered with Dragon Force, which has a high potassium content and is something the buds are missing in this final phase. If the fading hadn't started so early, I would have skipped it.
The trichomes are slowly starting to turn milky. I estimate they should be ready around day 63-65.
Quikz#2 looks almost ready and could be harvested in a few days, but that would be too early for the POTG and the GRC x BBC, so I need to find the golden mean there. And yes, having multiple strains isn't ideal, but I love variety when I want to smoke something.
There's also more gas coming through now, and the heavy sweetness of the buds is getting the kick we love so much.
Quikz#1 is coming on strong after the Cereal Milk and has that cream - fruity muesli smell.
Quikz#2 leans more towards the Red Runtz with a strawberry note but also has a hint of cream, though less than #1.
GrapeRockCandy x BananaButtercup F2 is very hard to describe, but I'll give it a shot. I wouldn't say banana peel, more like eating a nut bar at a gas station or something.
Very solid buds, almost without pistils, and extremely frosty. Just typical BananaButtercup, the jewel of SquareOne Genetics.
PlanetOfTheGrapes is absolutely my favorite, the loudest of them all. The Chem Dawg ancestor comes through fully, with a bit of sweetness and a lot of gas that few grape genetics have so intensely, and it produces fantastically.

Stony_German Tag 60 Flowering:
There’s only water for the past 5 days.
The 2 Quikz have been done for a few days now, that’s 8 weeks from Exotic Genetics, even accurately stated. 20% are already amber-colored. But I’m leaving them standing because I simply have no way to dry them. So they will be harvested with all the others in 4-5 days.
I’ve only left them standing a few times, but a little more calming effect isn’t a mistake either.
The GrapeRockCandy x BananaButtercup and PlanetOfTheGrapes will be ready in a few days as well. They could actually be harvested now, but since the 2 give a better yield, I’m focusing more on these 2 where about 75% of the trichomes are ripe. I’m basing this on the 2 buds at the first node below the top bud.
In the last 2 weeks, the gassy smell has become stronger and has nicely complemented the fruity sweetness.
Quikz#1 is still strongly leaning towards the Cereal Milk ancestor and is getting close to the fruit muesli.
Quikz#2 is more towards the Red Runtz ancestor and is exactly as described. The strawberry Quikz powder with milk, anyone who has had that knows exactly what I mean. You could also say strawberry shake.
GrapeRockCandy x BananaButtercup F2. I can’t perceive any banana peel, but definitely nuts without fruit, and the gassy smell is something I’ve never smelled before. I wonder how that smokes?
The trichomes here are nice and sandy, would be a good wash for bubble hash.
PlanetOfTheGrapes is 100% my favorite terp profile. Extremely loud gassy with the grape note that so many love. The fingers smell the longest when you rub them. Very oily trichomes. I just had to start another seed for the new run, even though I have to sort out a different one for the new grow. (All seeds have germinated and are already out of the soil).
My wife and I are only allowed to have 3 each, unfortunately.
The temperatures are just perfect for drying. I will try to achieve the 14 days + drying with 60% RH this time. That my wife 😈 will freeze a bit while sleeping and make my life hell is pretty much certain. The loving husband, as sweet as he is, has gotten a heater, but 😜 it’s in the closet with the seedlings. 😂😏
Great Terps. easy to grow. No big stretch in Flower. yield was mediocre. Great colors, The Red Runtz pheno turned Purple with almost black/Purple Leaves
#1 more on the Cereal Milk with a creamy scent.
#2 lean towards Red Runtz with Strawberry or red Fruit
Both phenos had 10% Amber Trichs around day 55
would i grow it again??? yes i have some beans left and have nothing bad to say about the Quikz

Stony_German Both phenos were ready after 8 weeks, which is pretty fast. After a test smoke, I’d say it’s a good daytime smoke. It doesn’t make you tired, tastes creamy with fruit, and hardly any gas. As for the potency, I’d estimate there’s definitely 20%+ THC in here.
First Time i give a 10/10. She check all boxes with a 10
veryFrosty, Extrem Loud and very Potent, Couchlock effect. You should stay at Home and relax with some munchies. Best for Netflix and chill.
Gassy A.F. with a chemical Citrus/Grape. Great smoke with oily Trichomes.
High Yield with not to dense Buds, you can grind it perfectlly for your doobie.
She was ready around day 65.
I love her so much and had to run POTG again. Highly recommended

Stony_German The lady was ready on flower day 65, and I can recommend everyone to grow the POTG if you love classic ChemDawg genetics. It hits you hard and gets you extremely high. I would estimate it at 25%+ THC. One of the strongest strains I’ve grown. I had to throw another POTG seed in the jar right after I smoked a test bud.
If I had to find anything negative, I would have wished for just a bit more stretch; that's the only thing that comes to mind.
Again first Time i give 10/10 tested 24% THC and 1,7% Terpenes
The amoumt of Frost is just incredible. Rock hard dense and heavy Buds with very few Pistils
High Yield full of powerfull but smooth, smoke was fire.
Sandy Trichomes she is a wascher for sure.
Terps are Nutty with a lot of Gas. No fruit or Banana Peal but so unique. I Love it..
I think Banana Buttercup is a Champ to bread with.
She was ready to harvest around Day 63 a true 9 weeker as Square One describes

Stony_German Well, what can I say? Anyone who has never tried a Banana Buttercup cross should definitely make up for that. These unique terpenes are hard to describe, but they smoke great and would also be perfect for anyone looking to wash them. The trichome heads are very sandy and not oily like those of the POTG, for example, which get really sticky when you rub your fingers. I believe if you crossed BBC with a potato, you'd also end up with frosty tubers. The buds have almost no hairs but are incredibly frosty.
