The seeds germinated quickly and showed no issues breaking through the soil. Healthy and vigorous growth is already visible, which is always an encouraging sign. The seedlings are now standing strong, with their first leaves fully open and soaking up the light. It’s exciting to see this strain already showing its potential! 🌱 Runtz - Week 2 Update 🌱 The second week of growth is well underway, and so far, the Runtz seedlings are showing great potential, despite a small hiccup earlier in the week. 🌿 This week started with a bit of a scare when I noticed something unusual with my Root Juice fertilizer—it had gone bad, with white spots floating inside, resembling mold. I had already applied it a few times during the first week, which led to some concerns about the soil's health. I took quick action by removing the top layer of the soil and replacing it with fresh soil mixed with mycorrhiza. To combat any lingering issues, I watered the plants with a solution of Clean Soil and Cannazym to cleanse the medium and support root health. Thankfully, the Runtz plants didn’t seem to be affected negatively—they’ve maintained steady growth and appear happy and healthy! It’s a relief to see their resilience. Looking forward to wrapping up Week 2 with bigger, stronger plants and setting the stage for explosive growth in the coming weeks! Now, it's growing strong and healthy! 🚀 ✅ Transplanted into a 5L pot ✅ Stable conditions – VPD is holding steady at 1.0 - 1.1. ✅ Plan for the week – continued training and gradually increasing PPFD. Despite its compact size and short intermodal spacing, training has been easy, allowing for a well-shaped canopy. After 31 days of veg, this beauty is ready to shine! 🌸 Runtz - Week 2 of Flowering Update 🌸 This plant continues to impress me! 💜 The structure is beautiful, and it’s growing strong with a healthy appetite. I can already see the first signs of fading, which tells me it's hungry for more nutrients. Everything is progressing smoothly, and I’m really happy with how it looks at this stage. For the last feeding, I gave it Plagron Terra Bloom with an EC of around 1.3. The plan moving forward is to maintain stable conditions around 1.2 VPD until the first signs of frost appear on the buds. Regular feeding will continue, keeping EC above 1.0 to support healthy flower development. The plant looks healthy and strong, producing a lot of white pistils, which is a great sign of proper development. As for trichome production, it could be a bit heavier, but I’m patiently waiting – Runtz still has time to show its full potential. Watering is done every two days, with around 1L of water mixed with nutrients. This week, I started adding Green Sensation in low doses to fully meet the plant’s phosphorus and potassium needs, which are essential for the flowering stage. Overall, everything went smoothly this week, with no major issues. The plant is strong, healthy, and ready to enter the best phase of flowering – the second half! From now on, it's all about stacking those buds and pushing for maximum resin production. 🌱 Runtz - Week 5 of Flowering Update 🌱 This week, I focused on lowering both temperature and humidity to optimize conditions for late flowering. The light cycle has been switched to 11/13 to reduce DLI and encourage faster ripening. Runtz is frosting up beautifully, and its cola structure is looking very uniform, which is a great sign for a solid yield. The buds are thick and impressive, exactly what I was hoping for! The soil condition is perfect, as Runtz is drinking a full liter of nutrient solution daily. This week, I’ve also started feeding the full dose of Green Sensation to maximize resin production and overall bud density. Now, it's all about watching this beauty mature.
