cherokee It's my fault that the plant is growing weakly (but I'll fix everything).

cherokee Hey everyone.
I'm continuing the slow veg and training of my plant. This week I transplanted it into a 3-liter pot. I also made 15 clones and they're showing good results, 90% have rooted. The plant is feeling great, but I suspect the roots haven't formed properly and I'll need to take measures to fix this situation. There's still a long veg and training ahead.

cherokee Hi everyone.
In this time, I've already received another 2 batches of clones, and the plant is doing great.
I want to transplant the plant into a 5.8-liter pot in the next few days, give it 2 weeks of veg, and get another 20-30 clones, after which I'll switch the plant to flowering.
I want to explain why the process is taking so long; I'm a breeder and I'm making seeds for my seed bank, Jedi Genetics. I have a lot of flower dust in my space, so I'm not switching the plant to flower yet.

cherokee From the very beginning, the plant had a poorly developed root and showed bad growth, but today I see how rapidly the bush is developing and gaining strength.
During all this time, I got 30-40 clones from the bush, and that's far from the limit; even now, I can get at least 25 clones from it.
My box is free, and I've finished making seeds; since there's no pollen, I can switch the OG Kush to flowering.
In mid-May, I will finally shape the bush and transplant it into a larger pot for the 12/12 switch. I'm confident that the bush will be beautiful.
And yes, soon I'll start a new diary for the clones 😎👌

No training, no cleaning, the bush just grows because there's neither time nor space for 12/12, and maybe this year I won't be able to flip it to flower ((( we'll see if the head stays on or if it’s a mini bloom for about 35 days (((( Beautiful plant, it was weak and sickly at first.... a long veg has only benefited it, the bush has become strong and bushy.
Also, there are clones in 1.5L, 2.9L, and 3.15L pots during flowering, I don’t understand what they’re lacking, feeding them Powder Feeding BioBloom + guano and palm ash, also watering with various bloom stimulants BLOOM BOOSTER. HUMIC. FULLVIC from Terra Aquatica.
ACTI-VERA, ALG-A-MIC, CALMAG, FISH-MIX from BIOBIZZ. pH 5.5 - 6.2 ppm at osmosis 1485ppm
I don’t know what to do with this motherf***er, some kind of crazy plant is growing :rasta_laugh:

cherokee I did a great job cleaning up this bush; I had to remove a lot of leaves and branches. I'm impressed with the genetics; it's a beautiful plant that responds well to training and cloning. Today, I'm going to transplant it into a 7-liter pot, and by July, in 2-3 weeks, the plant will go into the tent for flowering 12/12.
I'm planning to prepare SST tea with barley.

cherokee Hey guys.
We're heading into the home stretch ))) the plant has been transplanted into a 6.2L pot, and as you can see in the photo, the roots are just gorgeous, it's some kind of magic!
I'm in awe of Dinafem's genetics and I'm really impressed with this strain, OG Kush is my favorite strain, I've been told it's the best OG in the world... and I believe it!!! Amazing genetics.
I prepared compost tea because I really love feeding my garden with organic matter, microorganisms, and bacteria.
The plant has already gone into the tent on 12/12... in the next update, you'll be amazed at how big and beautiful it is.

cherokee Hey guys.
Thanks to everyone who visits my diary and keeps up with the updates.
I want to tell you what’s happened recently!
I decided to make this bush as big as possible, so I transplanted it into a 23-liter pot. After that, I cleaned up the bush by removing the large fan leaves and the small branches at the very bottom. I also stretched the branches by tying them with wire and tried to spread them out as much as possible by setting up a support for the plants.
The plant is feeling great and growing rapidly, responding well to the training. More to come!

cherokee The first week of flowering has passed.
The plant drinks a lot; I'm watering it with reverse osmosis water and I also want to set up drip irrigation.
The plant is also leaning to the side under its own weight, so I'll need to tie it up and provide support.

cherokee Hey guys.
It's been the second week of flowering and problems have started (((( From the very beginning, I made a big mistake by doing main-lining and letting the branches stretch too much, which caused them to start falling over.... today there were a lot of broken branches and buds (((( I'm really sad about this... I hate losing even a single branch... many have broken and just fell off or died.... My wife and I tried to set up supports, sticks, and somehow tie this bush up, but it stubbornly keeps falling over and that's it (((( I'm really upset.... there were high hopes for this bush and now I'm worried that it just won't have enough time to ripen and give a good result.... we'll see what happens in 3-4 weeks...

cherokee The third week of flowering is over, I worked well with the bush and completely redid the support.. I bought more stakes and made a new support, now all the poles have support and aren't falling over.
The plant feels great, the fourth week of flowering is starting and we're beginning to feed this girl fully with potassium and phosphorus!!!
She drinks like crazy, yesterday I gave her 7.5 liters of water, today she's completely dry.... insatiable 😂

Ohhhh how tired I am of watering her, I'm too lazy to water every day... and she's always dry, always wants to drink all because of the cursed heat... ((( I want -20°C cold, cold winter already)))
Because of the heat, the trichome crystals aren't forming ((( 32.5°C is terrible.

cherokee Hey guys!
It's been the fifth week of flowering for this monster, the buds are swelling right before my eyes, it just keeps growing wider and wider!!! This is simply a beautiful plant with enormous power!
Updates:
1. I installed a drip irrigation system with 10.5 liters of water.
I hope this simplifies watering.
2. I re-tied the branches that were falling due to their own weight, I adjusted some branches and added extra support to others.
I also want to note that earlier the water consumption was 7.5 liters, now this amount has decreased to 5 liters, the plant is starting to drink less.

cherokee Hello everyone.
Another week has passed in the life of this monster, this giant 😁😋😊 just amazing genetics and incredibly huge buds that are already bigger in volume than a 0.33L Coca-Cola can, very dense and voluminous flowers.
It drinks a lot and well, 7 - 8 liters per watering. I also want to note that I don't have the opportunity to water the pot to drainage to flush the substrate, but somehow a few days ago I managed to do it and measure the ppm readings of the drainage. To my surprise, there were numbers on the dial... 5430 ppm 😦😯😩 I was in shock ))))
You can't really say that the plant is unhappy with anything; it’s growing and doesn't care how much ppm is in the substrate )))).
We're already on the home stretch, harvest time is close!!! 😝

cherokee Hi everyone.
The 8th week of flowering has come to an end and we're already on the home stretch "harvest is close" 😄😜. I'm watering the bush with pure water to wash out the leftover nutrients and get a clean yield. The size of the buds is just amazing, big dense colas, they're beautiful and I'll be sad to cut them down(((.
If anyone is interested, subscribe to my channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRFN2LzgQ4gxDj-6CIIr82g about growing, in this blog I talk about the plants I'm growing 😊.

cherokee It was a wonderful adventure... I did it!!!
@Kanndera, Hi there. I don't grow for the result and big weight, I experiment more and test different growing techniques, different nutrients, trying to see how the plants behave. This is already the second cycle with OG clones, and soon I'll start the third. Each time the results get better and better. In the third batch of clones, during transplanting, I noticed that the roots didn't gain much mass, so I'll give them more vegetation time and more root stimulators. In the end, I'll get a better result compared to the previous two attempts. With each try, the results improve. No, I give them veg time for 1-1.5 months. First, I transplant them into a 0.7L pot, then into a 1.15L pot, and the last pot is 3.15 liters. Clones need vegetation to build mass; without roots, there's no harvest. My flowering period takes 55 days, so every 35 days I harvest 7-8 clones.
@cherokee, Thanks for the reply. I saw you mention that you made clones from Blue Dream and said they didn't take well. Can you describe that in more detail? I've seen similar complaints; people say it's finicky when cloning. Do you have any tips? Considering I just cut some clones from it today and planted them in plugs )))
@Kanndera Here’s the diary growdiaries.com/diaries/74947-humboldt-seeds-blue-dream-grow-journal-by-cherokee for the clones. And this is my diary with the mother plant growdiaries.com/diaries/42935-humboldt-seeds-blue-dream-grow-journal-by-cherokee-growdiaries 10th week I show the bush and where I took the clones from. Yes, she is a very, very, very temperamental girl, with a character just like a woman, she wants attentive care, the best light, the best climate, the best nutrients, and of course, a careful grower who will take good care of her ))) I took clones from the mother plant 3 times, the first time it was the tops and they were big and thick from the very top, all rooted 100% since I chose the main-lining growing technique, I always managed to get a good clone from a thick branch. The second time, I kept her specifically to get 25-50 clones and gave her 2 months of veg to let the side branches and the lower unpromising branches grow out, which are usually trimmed; this technique is called lollipopping, but I decided to let those branches go and use them for clones because waiting for the tops takes too long and I had a main-lining plan for 8 main colas. So, the second time I used clonex, Great White Premium Mycorrhizae, ROOT RIOT, put them in a high-humidity clone dome, as they say, I did everything at the highest level, also fed them with bio roots spray, Alg-A-Mic, took very careful care of them..... but out of 23-25 clones, 0% rooted..... I was upset... no, I was devastated... I felt very sorry and sad.... meanwhile, my box had the clones from the first time "the tops" flowering, and the mother plant was getting bigger and bigger and was no longer fitting in my veg tent.... I didn’t know if I would like this strain, whether it was worth ruining a beautiful bush for clones that might not root.... in the end, I decided to take 6 and wait for the harvest of the clones from the first batch, on 15.07 I cut 1 clone and gave it 14 days to dry, I have a photo of this bush on my Instagram... after 5 days of curing, I decided to try this strain.... I picked a juicy bud and ground it in the grinder. I have a frozen pipe for smoking, filling the bowl of the pipe with the ground buds, the blueberry smoke with the taste of ripe blueberries filled my lungs with sweet aromatic smoke of flowers and fragrant herbs, I like to roll Blue Dream in grape backwoods and smoke a fat juicy grape blunt with the taste of ripe blue grapes mixed with spicy herbs and juicy ripe blueberries. In my opinion, Blue Dream needs 1.5 weeks of veg and you should take clones only from the tops, big strong cuttings, and use clonex, coconut tablets / cotton / DWC, the bigger the branches for cloning, the higher the chances of rooting ✌️
@cherokee
How are things going since you started germination mate?
We hope all is well and can't wait to see what you can do with our OG Kush 🤗
Good luck my friend 👊
