04/20/20: the smell is finally starting to get pretty noticeable, I was starting to get worried. Also ordered a 2nd LED light from RapidLed and a 2nd Mendel Sensor to build a 2nd tent (420 deals were nice, 15% and 42% off respectively), I'm thinking of using it as a veg tent but the light I ordered can be configured to a full-cycle grow. - watered both plants, 2.25 gallons each, filtered water, pH ~6.1, 8mL/gal TPS-One and 1mL/gal CalMag AOC 04/22/20: Received some new nutes I ordered from TPS: the Signal which helps with flower density and enhances terpene synthesis, the Silica Gold which provides stress support and improves plant defenses and their LiquidSoil Remediator which is a biologic and enzymatic soil cleanser that you use in the last 2 weeks of flowering and would allow you to reuse your soil right after harvest. I'm very happy with TPS-One and their CalMag so I decided to try their other products, pretty excited to see the results even tho I'll be using them for the last 2-4 weeks. 04/23/20: the Five Star smells very cheesy, but like a stinky french cheese! Also noticed signs of Magnesium deficiency starting to show up on the Five Star a couple days ago so I'll bump the amount of CalMag from 1 to 2mL/gal. - watered both plants, 2.25 gallons each, filtered water, pH -6.15, 8mL/gal TPS-One, 2mL/gal TPS CalMag AOC, 2mL TPS Signal and 2mL/gal TPS Silica Gold. 04/24/2020: noticed a bunch of spring-tails on the top layer of soil, I've been drying the trimmed leaves and crunching them into a powder than dumping that on top of my soil. I was told springtails were sign of healthy soil, so it's great to see it happen! 04/26/2020: - watered both plants, 2.25 gallons each, filtered water, pH -6.15, 8mL/gal TPS-One, 2mL/gal TPS CalMag AOC, 2mL TPS Signal and 2mL/gal TPS Silica Gold. This ends Week 6 of flowering, I'm starting to plan out the harvest to make it as smooth as possible (gathering all the tools needed, etc...) I can't believe the LBL F2 male is still alive! It's been exiled on the balcony 4 weeks ago, got hit by a snowstorm last week, and a frost wave the week before that!

growing 5 star and it has turned purple with great bud formation in week 7 of flower - takes 8 weeks - also did star pupil but 5 star was the best all round and has that Pack-a-stand along with afghan and Thai _ going to get a very high yield for thisstrain

looks like "n" issues because of the leaves just flush and let plant get very dry before feeding - don't get me wrong great looking plants - these two strains can be difficult

@Azgrows, have gotten good yields with a 30day veg not counting germination and seedling stages ( I start veg time when there are 3 "true" sets of leaves) I am on week 8 - at the end 60day flower - will be harvesting in 2 days There flowwer times are right on. Here are a few that I have: 5 Star - Star Pupil -Panama Goo -Fisheye OG -Acapulco Gold (a pure sativa heirloom/landrance) and GOJI Pupil with a 30day flower = 3 foot plant = 1/2 / to 1 lb harvest

@airplane, for sure and thanks brotha! They're in FF Happy Frog soil (with ~30% perlite), I only started feeding her some FF Big Bloom (barely any N) and some CalMag at 5 weeks. the recent clawing is due to feeding her some of FF's Grow Big once. As for watering I've been letting them getting very dry (3-5 days). I've been reading up Mass Medical Strains' tips and listening to his podcasts, very informative. They're showing (I think) potassium deficiency but I'm not sure what to feed her without adding too much nitrogen (that's why I tried giving them some FF GrowBig) Probably gonna veg them a full 8 weeks before flipping to flowering, it's gonna be hard to wait!

I noticed that you didn't get the purple pheno of the Star Pupil. How big were the buds? Large fat kolas or just clusters of bud at roughly a foot or less intervals? If you can remember. I'm currently growing that strain right now and I've got two purple Phenos and two non purple phenos

would consider 45 day veg then flower

watch the "N" with these plants - don't hardly give them much at all and also you can let them get very dry between feeding/watering - mean letting them go for 3-4 days no water
