WEEKLY SUMMARY:
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
🙋♀️Fo' Twenny here!🙋♀️
Back with another update on our mostly Sativa ♨️🍪 RED HOT COOKIES cultivar bred by SWEET SEEDS! I am trying a new format for the weekly summary portion of my diary. Let me know what ya'll think!
👃 AROMA: She smells sweet with a hint of cream. She is not highly aromatic at this point, but I am excited to experience the evolution of her terpene profile as she progresses through flower. One of my favorite aspects of growing cannabis is how much these plants change from start to finish and how much variation is possible with this plant.
❇️ BUD STRUCTURE: She is building long colas! Her pistils are short and thick.
🎨 Color: She is a nice shade of green. I will call it army green. She doesn't appear to be a red phenotype or have any exotic coloration at this point in her development.
🌿 STEM, STRETCH, & INTERNODES: She stretched as expected for a Sativa. She is currently the tallest in the garden. She has average stems slightly on the thinner side and pretty tight internodal growth up toward growth tips with longer spacing below. She will likely need support as her buds conyinue to build.
✂️ TRAINING/PRUNING: I have continued selective defoliation as needed to avoid crowding herself and her neighbors. I remove no more than 25% of foliage at any one time, and usually closer 10-15%. I space out defoliation with a minimum of 3 days between sessions, in most instances. There will be exceptions to that, but it is a good rule of thumb I try to adhere to. She has been trained to have 6 main shoots and I am using LST techniques to gently bend her stems to evenly fill her space without overcrowding.
❄️TRICHOMES/RESIN PRODUCTION: Her buds are already starting to sparkle and glisten. She is already covered in large thick resin glands with fat heads. It's still early and I hope she continues to pack in the frost!
🚿 WATER/FEED: I have continued with a light bidiurnal misting of White Dutch Clover cover crop . This, in conjunction with running lower temps (New AC), has seemed to have drastically increased feeding intervals. My plants are needing much less water than in previous runs. I typically give the whole SOG one feed per week with light watering of select individual cultivars as needed between feeds. I try my best to "read" my garden. The amount of water between feeds depends on how soon the next feed will be. I feed the garden as a whole and this run I have been generally spacing feeds out about 4-6 days when the the first plant shows beginning signs of wilt (slight droop of lower fan leaves).
📝 OBSERVATION/NOTES: She doesnt appear to have any signs of deficiency or toxicity. No indications of stress, disease, or pests. She does seem to be one of the thirstier ladies in the garden, which is fitting for her size.
Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome.
Now, for the weekly break down!

🚿 FEED DAY 🚿
The cultivar received approximately 1 gallon of solution. I mixed 17 gallons of solution for 17 plants. The solution is applied via wand sprayer powered by a submersible pump attached to a garden hose. Nutrients and additives are added to the reservoir in the order listed below and thoroughly mixed using a large plastic stir spoon. The reservoir is oxygenated by four 4 inch air stones.

I love seeing the pistils chunky like that, that means “sweet” tasting I’m sure of it!
Every time I get a strain that has big fat chunky pistils my sweet toof starts tingling lol
Awesome as usual my friend. This week has been filled with great updates. I love the level of detail for your medium creation. I'm going to check in when this grow is through to see how you think it worked out vs other methods. Keep up the great work 😀
@Treighfunky, Thanks for the kind words! I like trying thing and I haven't been great at documenting all details in the past. It's something I am trying to focus on to take my skills to the next level.
@Sweet_Seeds, Thanks for dropping by and showing my garden some love! I have been looking forward to running this strain! This is my first run of genetics from you guys and I hope I do her justice.
Peace, love, and frosty nugs!
Nice one! Mine should be harvested by now but it can happen in January... hope not too late with 9th week of flowering 🤥
