It’s my second run growing San Fernando Lemon kush, I had to repeat this lemony flavor.
Even though I’ve already grow this before, I’m still very excited to grow it.
Strain characteristics:
This strain is an amazing hybrid between two great genetics.
It crosses San Fernando Valley OG Kush which is what brings that lemony zest to the garden coming from the Lemon Thai which is crossed in that mix and then that’s crossed with Kosher Kush.
The aroma of this strain is pure limonene it’s quite pleasant and very intense. Hints of wood, cypress, a bit of spices and a solvent scent which combines it all and just smacks you in the nose.
The plant is a Indica-Sativa hybrid but it leans to the Sativa side, she’ll stretch on you quickly.
This cultivar develops lots of trichomes and has a strong presence of the limonene terpene being ideal for resin extractions, from personal experience I highly recommend making some rosin out of these lovely flowers. Very tasty stuff, I might just set aside one whole plant to press. …getting ahead of myself here, still have a long way to go before I see any buds.
Variety SWS62 Type: Feminized
Indica/ Sativa: 35%/65%
THC: 14-21% · CBD: 0,1%
Indoor Yield: 450-600 g/m2
Outdoor Yield: 450-700 g/plant
Indoor Blooming: 9 weeks
Outdoor Harvest: late September to early October
Expectations & Training method:
As I’ve already grown this strain, I know what to expect so I’m hoping things will run smoother.
Last time I only topped her and did a bit of LST guiding the colas. That technique was great but she stretched much more than I was expecting which gave me problems but ultimately gave me a good yield which were 82 grams. This tent is taller so I have more space to work with, let’s hope things run smooth and I can improve the quality and yield from last grow.
Dropped 4 seeds but only 3 made it. One of the three sprouted 15 days later, while the other two sprouted almost over night.

Happy Growing! 😃
First week went good.
They're all looking healthy and reaching for that light, a bit too much actually so I lowered the light a bit.
These first days seem to take forever just have to be patient nothing else you can do..
I placed the seeds in 500ml cups with BioBizz Light Mix soil, beforehand I mixed 1 gram of Synergy per 4 liters of soil.
These are live microbes called Mycorrhiza which live in symbiotic association with the roots.
My idea is to leave them in this container for about 14-21 days until the roots develop correctly then transplant them to their final pot which will be an 11L fabric pot.
As the light mix soil comes blended for at least two week of life, no nutrients will be added until after the transplant.
Happy Growing!😃 🌱 🌿 🌲
Well, we already know she's a grower.
Check the difference in the pictures, first ones are the beginning of the week and last ones end of the week.
They're definitely comfortable, I can notice the roots taking over the soil and the leaves are branching out which is great to see.
Next week they'll be transplanted to final 11L fabric pots.
Happy Growing!
Hello Growers & Tokers!
This week they were transplanted to their final pot, 11L fabric pots.
It's a big move from a 500ml cup to 11L pot but by the end of the cycle I'm those roots will have taken up all the space.
I like to give them time to expand the roots which is very important for a healthy plant.
That also gives them more time to get bigger and stronger before going into flower.
More growth, more bud sites, more buds. The wait is worth the reward.
Medium used was Light Mix from BioBizz.
Synergy from Grotek nutrients was blended in the medium to help out the roots.
Let the mycorrhizae do its job and take over the soil, then the roots just follow.
This extra veg time is what I didn't have last run, everything else will be done the same.
I'll wait for them to adjust them I'll top them to try and have the same structure as last run but hopefully better yield.
Take care out there and happy growing!
Hello Growers & Tokers!
One week after transplanting and they're doing good.
Turns out it was a bit cold for them and they were droopy the whole week, but that problem was fixed.
I'll wait till next to top them, that way I can top a bit higher and have more main colas.
Both of them are doing good. Not too picky with the feeding either.
They're starting to stretch which is a good sign because they're comfortable but it's bad because they'll overgrow the others.
Something I already had in mind though from last run.
So after topping I'm planning on putting them under support to even the tops.
Take care out there and happy growing!
Hello Growers & Tokers!
Check out the leaves on these ladies! 😍
Super duper healthy they are and that's why they got topped this week.
I highly doubt they'll suffer any stress from being topped.
My plan is to have as an even canopy looking to have about 6-10 colas per plant.
They got some chunky leaves on them which will be taken off next week before switching them to flower.
These ladies are gonna get big! 😍 😍
Can't wait to have that lovely lemony aroma flowing in the mix.
Take care out there and happy growing!
Hello Growers & Tokers!
They getting bushy!
Topping them worked like a charm, they got lots of new growth inside the canopy.
While the top is pretty evened out, problem is she's too tall; but good thing is she's flexible so I went ahead and bent the tops a bit to even her out with the rest of the strains in the tent.
Don't want what happened last time to occur again. SMH.
It's the last week of veg so I went ahead and cleaned them up a bit.
Taking down the bigger fan leaves in the middle, those that are bigger than my hand and give most shade.
The new fan leaves I leave them be. I also cleaned a bit of the bottom.
First node was taken off. Second and third nodes were cleaned by taking off the first and second nodes on both.
That's just taking away growth that won't amount to anything and giving energy to where it's needed, on the top.
They're coming in at an average of 60cm, these next 21 days of flower they're going to stretch.
Let's hope not too much!
Take care out there and happy growing!
Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩🌾 🧑🌾.🔥💨
Switching the light schedule to 12/12, we're officially in bloom in.
I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrients again.
I cut off the grow nutrients completely and started adding bloom nutrients 2ml/L for now.
I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes.
Also did a bit of selective defoliation.
That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how she flowers.
Happy growing!
Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩🌾 🧑🌾.🔥💨
Pretty good week. She's grown a bunch, new growth is coming up everywhere.
I topped a bit later than the last run so things got a bit out of control.
The canopy is all uneven... 😪
Take care and stay safe!
One love!
Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩🌾 🧑🌾.🔥💨
Another week in flower, except for the height there isn't much progress with her.
Structure is all uneven, growth is uneven, should have topped before..
Hope you all have a great day!
One love!
Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩🌾 🧑🌾.🔥💨
Nice bit of progress from last week.
Bud sites are starting to grow out, buds starting to form.
She's way behind the other ladies in forming buds but then again she's gotten stressed a bit by the looks of her growth in the past 3 weeks.
Good thing comparing from last run with this strain is the height management.
I was able to even the canopy on the side she was on, because the other cultivars that were in that space
were also tall.
That's something I had problems with last run because she was about 70cm taller than the rest.
Branches were spreading apart with the uneven growth so I had to add a bit of support with some bamboo sticks.
Added green sensation to the nutrient mix.
Have a great one!
One love!
Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩🌾 🧑🌾.🔥💨
There's quite a bit of difference from last week.
Colas got thicke, couldn't get much photos in this week.
She's seems to have stopped stretching completely.
Aroma is strong now, got that strong lemony zest I was expecting even thought the plant structure isn't how I'd like.
Take care out there.
One love!
Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩🌾 🧑🌾.🔥💨
Almost wrapping up bloom.
This will be the last week I feed nutrients from here on only water.
Flowers are looking nice, smelling great but size wise they're not as big as last runs'.
Still happy with how things are going, trichome production is looking nice and given my plan is to turn most of this into rosin I can't complain.
Take care out there.
One love!
And now we wait...
Cut off all the nutrients and upped the water amount just a bit.
Last 3 weeks will be feed just PHed water.
Also reduced the RH% from 65 to 55.
Not much change in this week.
Same feed schedule as last week.
Dropped the RH% to 50.
Flowers are maturing nicely and the aroma of lemon peals is strong on one of the plants.
The other has the same scent from last run, more of creamy lemon pie type of smell.
Can't wait to harvest these ladies, which will be most likely 70% turned into some tasty rosin. 😋
For sure my favorite lemon cultivar at the moment.
The taste is like a creamy lemon pie, with notes of lemon peals on this run.
This makes some super tasty rosin.
Use this one in the mornings mostly, sometimes in the early afternoon.
The effect is uplifting and energetic. Makes some for great morning dabs!
Hey!
Really enjoyed growing this cultivar for the second time, even though the first run went better I'm still happy with the results.
Full of trichomes, smelling great, tasting even better!
About 70% of these flowers were turned into rosin.
I highly recommend growing this then squishing her.
You will not regret it and will have some tasty lemon extracts.
Growing info...
I harvest them on day 63 of flower which is exactly at the end of week 9.
I hung them to dry for 14 days at 60%RH and 18ºC
Whole plants for the first 4 days or so then I seperated them to branches.
Before placing them in jars and turning some flowers into rosin.
I hand trimmed all of it then weighed them.
Pheno #1 and pheno #2 both came in at 50 grams each.
So I went ahead and separated 70 grams that would go for rosin and the rest to cure and smoke.
Y'all underestimate how tasty this rosin is... I would have squished all of it but I love me some flower as well.
After that I placed about 30 grams in glass hermetic jars at 60-62%RH
Burping them for the first three weeks. Then after a month I started sampling.
Great stuff!
Hope you enjoyed the diary.
Take care out there!
@HirdoWeirdo, Thanks! Much appreciated, She came out alright. 🙌
Oh I highly recommend this cultivar. It's a different type of lemon, also like a lemon cream pie.
Makes some AMAZINGLY tasty rosin.
This is my second run with her.
First run went MUCH better, It's in my other diaries if you want to check it out.
A great harvest, with a super delicious appearance. 😍
Thank you very much for trusting our strains, and sharing your experience.
And thank you very much again for the score of 10 out of 10!! 👏😍❤️
We hope you enjoy the harvest 👌
Sweet smokes!

@Sweet_Seeds, Thank you for that feedback, I'm glad you like the outcome of this harvest.
I loved it, definitely tasty and a great morning strain. The rosin is expectacular! 🤤
