**Wednesday 2/10/2021 - Tuesday 2/23/2021** [NOTE: I consolidated a number of weeks I had created in this log because it wasn't cohesive with the grow. I did not want to include the time it took to get the seedling into my DWC system. Also, I'm including the first week in the DWC system so the pictures align with my weekly water changes. Moving forward the pictures on each week were taken at the "end" of that week. This "Germination" phase started on 2/10/2021 - 2/24/2021 a total of 2 weeks (14 days). I'm adding the first week it was in DWC (2/24/2021 - 3/2/2021) to this week as well. A total of 3 weeks (21 days). Based off of these numbers I will try to start in DWC moving forward. What I do currently seems like a waste of time considering I've seen many successful growers here doing that already.] I haven't grown in 7+ years due to life. I had a collection of old seeds so I tried germenating all of them. The only ones that popped were the Liberty Haze. I had 5 seeds and 3 of them popped. I soaked them in water for 24 hours and then moved them to paper towels at ~1900 on 2/13/2021. It took ~ two days for the tap roots to appear. Between late Friday 2/14/2021 to the wee hours of Saturday 2/15/2021 I moved the three seeds to 1" rockwool cubes that I had soaked for 2 hours in the nutrient solution above. the seedlings are under a 150W CFL for 24/0 in a short humidity dome. [Update 2/17/2021] Of the 3x starts, two made it. One is stronger than the other. [Update 2/19/2021] I have been using the same 1Gal mix I made to soak the cubes to also drip feed the cubes with a pipet once a day. I was doing twice a day, but got the feeling I might have been overwatering. [Update 2/22/2021] Plugged in CFL light to timer until ready to transer to DWC. I was going to wait until transfer but the roots haven't popped out the bottom yet. I am hoping the lights being off instead of 24hrs will speed root growth. I'm doing 18/6 On @ 1400 & Off @ 0800 [Update 2/24/2021] My tent specs: ~ 5 x 2 x 7' grow area Poly Panda for reflective material 4" carbon filter and inline exhaust fan 4" passive air intake (I'm already re-thinking this and may change during this grow due to significant negative spiritual pressure) 5Gal Bucket with "Love" (Masaru Emoto for those curious) My ScrOG is more like 4x2'. I re-used this from my old setup (yes I toated it around with me for 7+ years). It used to be 4x3.5' Exhale CO2 bag Setup DWC ~ 2000 Light at ~38" 18 hours 1400 - 0800 Just shy of 4 gallons of water CalMag (5ml/Gal) - 19ml Aqua Flakes A+B (4.5ml/Gal) - 17ml Roots Excelurator (0.5ml/Gal) - ~2ml Multi Zen (3.8ml/Gal) - 15ml Liquid Karma (1tsp/Gal) - 4 tsp Drip Clean (0.4ml/Gal) - 1.5ml 715ppm 5.7ph I'm still not sure what to think about this seedling. It seems to be moving slower than what I remember...and I shouldn't be surprised. If this doesn't work I'll buy some new seeds but really wanted to avoid that if possible for now because I went over budget building this new setup. [Update 2/25/2021] With the PPM riding at 710+ (it has jumped up to 770) I am worried about issues. I am strictly following the House and Garden feeding schedule. I'm using R/O water and adding the CaliMagic and Liquid Karma in addition to the recommended H&G products. This seems significantly higher than what I was expecting. [Update 2/26/2021] - After further research I have determined that I do not need to use CalMag. I was using CalMag at 1 tsp/Gal (as recommended). After dropping the CalMag I'm sitting at 508ppm. Still higher than what I'm used to, but certainly more reasonable for the stage at I'm right now. [Update 2/27/2021] - I don't want to call it too soon but the leaf twist hasn't gotten significantly worse this morning. New growth is looking healthy so far. I have lowered the light from 38" to 26" (using Maxsisun acclimation recommendations).

Grow Questions

Is this root rot? I have fixed my temps in the last 4 days. I am already using H&G Roots Excelurator. Is Hydroguard better or should I use both? I also tried fixing light leaks. Any other suggestions?

You should be using both. As the last person said root accelerate nutrient helping grow roots faster, while hydrogaurd is a beneficial bacteria that will keep your roots healthy during harsher environment. Things like slightly higher res temps.

@PigBearMan, I'm sorry to hear that man. Most of my family is from the southern states so I understand exactly what your saying. Luckily I'm in a fairly temperate area, although the winters can be harsh. However, I'm growing indoors so it's much easier to deal with than high humidity and temps.

@Bertoxxulous, where i live the temperatures and the RH are pretty shitty. Summer, 28°C and 65% RH. Good for veg but not for flowering and smoking. It's like a fucking sponge. Like wet camp fire. I putting my 7 weeks old weed still in the microwave for 15 sec. Ridicolous. Will not grow next summer for sure.

@Bertoxxulous, yeah I am the same I couldn’t take to vaping and I bought the mighty vaporiser (just not the same) so I smoke blunts much nicer! Well the terpene most at this stage I thought limonene and that’s where the real lime/citrus taste. But also a spicy background which could be the caryophyllene. I am curing for a few weeks and I just know this will get better!

@TheGreenQueen420, Thank you so much! I cannot freaking wait! I saw your harvest pics, and you did an excellent job!!! All I have right now is shitty vape pen cartridges and I'm almost out of those too. I will never buy a vape pen cartridge ever again after this. I thought it would be the greatest thing since sliced bread, but boy was I wrong. Maybe others feel differently, but I do not like them. Are there any distinct terpene you are picking up?
