CO2 is really good addition to your grow but if you don't have any meters or otherwise stable system its really hard to know how much CO2 is in the tent at any given time and that brings one more factor to your grow. Basically when there is more CO2 in the air the plant will photosynthesize more and the optimal temperature goes up too and with this the plant will eat more nutrients etc. I don't know how your system works but I don't think it btings any harm atleast. Is there enough added CO2 to matter? I dont know that one either. Normal room has roughly 300PPM CO2 and 800PPM is good and 1500PPM is BEST.

I also set one up (home-made with yeast and sugar), and i think it can't be a bad thing to add.. after all plants use co2 to generate energy, and why not give them what they want to fatten up? The fact that they can then endure higher temperatures and higher light-levels (PPFD) is just an advantage, and for the fact that it took me 10 minutes to make and i check every once in a while whether i need to re-fill my setup with yeast or sugar, that's a small effort to take that could have a big benefit..
