I'm using 2 300 watt LED's. I know others that use 1k LED's and pay around $100 for the lights. Does anyone have knowledge about LED power and bud size / yield? I think I'm under powered. Considering 2 of these: King Plus by KingLED Link: http://a.co/d/aDKAnY2

Hi @TaDaaDa! Well, if you want a combination, good spectrum+power+coverage, you should look for "QuantumBoards", these panels rely on Samsung mid power LED (lm561c or even better lm301b) which are the new big thing in the growing industry. These are probably the most effective grow lights onto the market nowadays. Growers with good coverage usually get more than 1g/w. The drivers are dimmable, so you can control your light power (and your electricity bill). They're usually dimmed at 25% during veg stage and 75% during flowering stage, depending on the driver's power capacity and the size of the board(s). If you cannot afford the official QuantumBoard from HLG, you can try to go DIY, many companies are selling the same boards they use at HLG. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

The above answers have some good points. I will try to add my 2cents. I believe you are having some environment issues if your info is correct in this dairy. Temps should ideally be like 65f low. 80f as a high. Also it looks like you have some fans blowing directly on the plants. If u have AC at your house. Get the temps lower all over your house. 5f to 8f should be good. Take those fans and point them so they circulate air in the tent but not directly at the plant. Biggest thing is raise that light. 5 inches is way to close. Even if your LED is 600W on the box and only 300w from the wall. I use only 355w and never get closer than 20-24inches. After all this don’t stress an auto like mentioned before. Gently coax it into doing what you want. By giving her slight adjustments. If u want a great LED light check out Neil’s (Ledrf) Perfect Sun Lights. There is newer COB tech lights out but PS are still very good and the prices are fair. I do topping defoliation and lollipop to my plants. Sometimes just 1/3 of those methods. Sometimes all 3. But I’m always mindful if it’s too much. Good luck with the plant Ta

I work for a LED manufacturer www.grow-spec.com - you can send a private massage if you want more information , it's not about the power- it's a about the right spectrum, LED for 100$ are Chinese shit- don't buy on amazon, ebay, alibaba etc, waste of money and the vendor you selected LIES- the light does not support uv./ir- even if it would 1pc of it would not be even visible in 1000W , the spectrum has only some blue and red LED- poooooor and far far from FULL SPECTRUM as the vendor states The spectrum diagram shown on the photo with spectrometer shows a completley different spectrum that the vendor states Ask the vendor some basic questions- like for ex. what is the wavelenght of the UV you utilize in the light- im pretty sure he won't know or utilizes a wawelenght which is useless for plants I fuckin hate them...really,...fighting them is my daily bread, lot's of pepole buy this junk and afterwards say that LED don't work See all my diaries- run on the stuff i sell, my 150W would grow better than this 1000W Lastly- someone want's to be like kindLED,,, , name and even the design and font on the panel are the same, poor rip-off and attemt to fool growers

welll well well, how to say it nice and clear. Ok you reated your automatic plant like a photoperiod plant. Stressed her with lightburn hardcore defoliation, (lollipopping) etc. thats Things she dont like. Most automatics accept lst and a soft picking some leaves away. She was so busy to build new leves( she really needs in that stage to practise photosynthesis). after that time is running by... and automatics have an timer that counts from germination . Ok hope you understood that. be happy she gives you a harvest at all. Conclusion... things made right.. give her a big pot quite quick and good soil Unlucky descisions/ to much light, heavy lollipopping. Happy Growing...... yes the Light is not your problem thats enough light for her

I use 2 300w LED fixtures myself and don't have any issues in my 2'x4' tent. You could try upping the wattage more light should produce larger yields, but it may also burn your plants. By the way, I checked your link and am amazed how cheap LED fixtures are getting. At $120 for 1000w its probably worth trying. Let us know what you decide. And good luck! 👍

Hello ! Are you feeding her ? Because 2x 300w is way enough and many cheap panel performs well. You can even get good yield with less watts , take a look at @athos grows. If you'r not feeding her then you should start to increase your yield . Hope it will help you 😁👍
