I was thinking of topping my plants in about a weeks time after they're a little more established in their larger pots unless the stressed one doesn't start to bounce back. Does it seem to early for that?
Hi!
Usually topping is done when there is 5-6 nodes grown. If you have stunted growth and little bit struggling I would wait until she is growing helthy and strong and only then I would top her. Topping causes lots of stress to the plant and if she is already stressed it will take longer to heal from it. Topping a healthy plant will not stress nearly as much and she will bounce back much faster. If you are not in a hurry I suggest that you take your time with the girl and heal her good before topping! 👌
Don't top at all. Your first plant yes? she is already looking a bit behind.. Learn to water and feed nutrients and grow a healthy strong plant then do the training stuff later.. Your like 2-3 weeks away from when I'd consider topping. But she is really stunted. Sorry but true I can help you if you need more information. But yes this is your answer Your not ready to top this grow at all.
