Niello Lights, are they good?

Hey Mate, It's a chinese light, had a peek on it via google. Full spectrum has much blue in it, but I think it'll work To get a decent Harvest I wouldn't go over 2"×2"/60cmx60cm with one light. I would suggest to spend 50-60 Bugs more to get a Spider Farmer SF600, or a Mars Hydro.. These are good and low priced lights. Hope this helps a bit. Cheerz Mate. OimRausch

Hey man, I had quite a range of Chinese manufactured lights, ranging from pseudo companies that don't exist ("TOPLANET") over niello to Mars-hydro. I started going down the lightning rabbit hole and spent 2 months of my life understanding lighting and spectrums for growing cannabis. All lights you see do work, more or less, some better than others. Problem is, most cheap China manufacturers make it very difficult for you to calculate efficiency and effectiveness of the light. While all plants will grow a plant, one light that costs 200$ might be 50% less efficient than a 150$ light but has a 200% higher light output for the plants... Or the other way around. As a conclusion: you either just buy a MH/ndl kit and know what you get or you go down the same rabbit hole as I did and try to understabd led lighting... Just keep in mind for leds you get what you pay for in most cases. Migro put out an awesome new 120W and 240W light I might be getting and if you wanna buy a great value for money product go with Mars-hydro. Use it currently and the lights are definitely worth the little money the cost!!!! Cheers dude

It's the "Lux" output that matters most. A 600w Mhl runs around 100,000 lux. LED - 900W is around 55,000 lux. You need 50,000 lux min. to grow anything descent.

If your gonna go led then you need to know the cheaper priced ones are basically just that. If you want great results hid is the way to go unless your willing to spend upwards of 900 bucks a light.

I tell ppl this all the time. You'll be a lot happier with a HPS/MhL combo. I did a side by side 1100 w LED vs my 600w MHL. I was cloning and he was just getting his 5th node to top .
