Should I give my plant 24 hours of light at one week? I’m very new to this and want to learn as much as possible...

I always suggest a 18/6 light schedule. It saves on power usage and also gives your girls time to recover from their hard day. Some people have no issues With 24 hr light phase but it's all a personal preference! Cheers and happy growing!

18/6 is all you need for veg. Can run 24 hours if you like,won't hurt your plant

Veg lighting approach? Switching from cfl to hps?I started my second grow a couple weeks ago with a 130w cfl in my 1m veg cupboard. I’m thinking I will make the switch to a 250w hps soon. I don’t want to overheat the space. Do you think this is a good strategy? I’ll flower the autos in my 1.4m tent with 600w hps.

Tent too hot?I added two blurple lights - I'm not sure how much they're helping growth but they are definitely making the tent hotter - about 5 degrees F. I have a fan blowing at the bottom of the tent and at top over the lights but I'm worried that it might be too hot. Should I ditch them?

Beleuchtung Wärme 😂😂 Hitzeproblem war wieder da... naja jetzt musste ich die Lampe 40cm höher hängen einfach neue Stangen und das Zelt höher gemacht. Ich hoffe es ist nicht schlimm für die Damen. Aber es ging nicht anders die Temperatur am höchsten Punkt der Pflanze war stellenweise 33Grad

Mars Hydro ts1000 info Looking to upgrade my flower tent light to a Mars Hydro TS 1000, is this a good light for a 3x3 tent? It says coverage area 2.5x2.5. My tmlapy 1500w will be going in to the new veg tent. Also, is it safe to swap lights mid flower?

at the moment I'm using a 250W HPS and 2 40W CFL, this takes humidity down. When I will afford LEDs do you think that the humidity will stay as per night or drop down like maximum 10% or it will have same behavior as with hps/cfl combo? Thanks

Lamp distance from seedlings? PPFD uploaded in this weeks photos.How far away I should have my lamp from my week old seedlings? I think it has something to do with the PPFD for my lamp (TS600), but I have no idea what it means. The lamp is set right at the very top of my tent now and is 32 inches (81cm) away. Best LEDs or small HID to replace 1000W dimmable HID for small space I'm using a 1000w HID setup I had from before, running at 50% in a cool tube. It's loud and not efficient. Maybe it's time I switch to LEDs or a 250 HID. I don't want to sacrifice bud quality but I'm low on funds. Any recommendations for a good light that will fill this space?

Autoflower light schedule Soon rolling into veg for my first auto grow. Currently on an 18/6 light schedule using Mars Hyrdo II 700w . Don’t have any problems with temp/humidity inside tent. Once you notice the buds starting to flower do you switch to 12/12 or just keep plugging away with 18/6?

I don't really know when to switch the veg light to the bloom one... the manufacter manual says to turn on both lights in pre-flower stage. What do u guys think? I also lowered the light (200w output) from 67 cm to 60, is it ok? (LED Viparspectra V 450)
