Root system not looking good, correct?

This is /not/ how a root system should look at 15 days, correct? It looks like the roots were suffocated. Would perlite help going forward in the future? Had abt 20% plite. Is the organic potting soil I got just low quality and too dense? I definitely chronically overwatered too

Oh no there should be so much more! They just drowned and stopped growing.. I'd toss and start again. Improve the drainage or go buy a fabric pot. I'm in love with them fixes that issue instantly!! Happy growing!

Thanks friends –– I think I'm going to use a plastic clear solo cup with much more perlite and a bit of coco coir for the first bit so I can see what's going on with the soil and maybe roots, and fabric pots for the transplant. Thanks as always for the help

Soil is supposed to be the easiest way to grow yet so many have so many problems. I grow in straight nutrimix HP . It's a peat and perlite mix. It makes a great medium and plants grow as fast as in rdwc. Water feed water feed. Dont have to wonder if your soil is or has lost nutes. Much easier but I get it, people think organic ferts is different than hydro ferts so their doing something better for their health.

TransplantingI just transplanted yesterday into 5gallon pots, do they look ok ? I dropped Runtz onto itself. The others seemed okay even though soil went everywhere. Not sure what to do to make sure all the roots & plant are healthy still. Any suggestions?

Red stemI got a pink stem on my Runtz plant. Just transplanted it from a 1 gall to. 5 gall 2 days ago & I did drop it on its stem 2 times. Now the stems red & ive been worried ever since I dropped it that it’s not gonna make it. Why are my stems red ? Is it the amount of nutrients ?

Nutrient Burn, Leaf Septoria, Nutrient Deficiency? Or something else?I have been having issues with the Purple Haze. I've tried adjusting the Temperatures, adding additional Cal-Mag, changing lumen intensity etc.
I believe this may be nutrient burn?
Added an old image of leaf before mainlining, the plant is 1 week old after mainlining was done.

Repotting ConcernsWent to repot my Wiz plant today, 14 days post seeding. when i flipped her over out of the pot i found that the roots didnt even come close to the edge of the original pot. they grew straight down then about 1.5" around. should i be worried that there isnt a big enough root systm

Rotten rootsSlow growth. Everything seemed to be going in the right direction, but the roots of my white widow DWC have been attacked by a bacteria that is causing them to rot, and I can't seem to get rid of it in any way. I've removed some of the rot, but I believe it's already compromised.

Cheap Bennies?Looking for a cheap alternative to Orca/Recharge/Mic. Mass/Tarantula or something to make crazy root growth in DWC and keep root rot at bay. Would toilet compost microbes work? Pond sludge remover has helped me but I'm hoping others have ideas - I want roots like in the pic!

Unhappy SeedlingPlant is day 10 now and growing fairly slowly compared to most (atleast it feels that way) noticed it suddenly started growing at an unusual angle today. I recently added a small fan for a light breeze, VERY light. humidity at 50-60% and kept between 18 - 26 degrees. Any ideas?
