Well, first of all, autoflowers should be germinated in the pot they're going to finish in... transplanting is stressful and autos don't like stress. But you've done what you've done and there's no going back. When you water seedlings, you want to water AROUND the plant, not straight up next to the stem... this encourages the roots to spread out to find the water... but the roots will first of all dive deep and then start to spread out. You also want to make sure the roots are not going to encounter dry soil because they will stop growing in that direction and move off elsewhere looking for water.... It's a balancing act but fairly easy to assess... the roots usually will not be spread out wider than the widest leaf of the plant... but again, they WILL go deep.... Good luck - I hope she hasn't been too stressed from the transplant and will recover in time for her to do her next thing...

You just did it too early. Better not, you can rip young roots, when they are dencer , they support each other. No big deal if all webt right. Some mycorrhizae would be nice. Next time let leaves be wider than pot and transplant then.

Okay. You uppot when or before your plant gets root bound. As she's so small on top.. so, in reality top is like a mirror to bottom. You should have left her. She would of took hold, (the roots) and spread out, and you'd of seen rapid growth (a root ball) But now, your gonna have to wait until the roots grow more and she'll take off. There's not much you can do now but give her love. And do a test. Get a stick and push it through soil(, away from plant) your sub might be too compact. This would only have a light impact though. But you should have left until she developed a little more. Look when I uppot around day 10-14. A bit before that size is when you should uppot.
