I don't get how some people can grow hydro without doing shit right, and get a decent harvest, when I make sure everything is perfect and can't get the mofo to get roots out the net pot. I swear I'm close to giving up on this hydro run UPDATE So I ended up doing a res change and this time stuck with the basics and bammmmmm! She's bouncing back and I haven't had to mess with the ph in over a day. This is the best day of my life lol jk. I'm just happy white fishbone roots are showing, and hopefully it stays this way. If she's happy I'm happy. Dope

Trying to spray roots now looks shitty plus roots went from growing inches overnight to withering away. I literally made sure a bunch of times everything was right. 5.8 to 6.2 ph, 68 f water temp, 3 air stones, roots were touching water not sitting in water, 62RH, 75f temp 500ppm

Don't give up man.. I ran DWC outta totes my first run or two and it was a piece of cake. Thought I had it down, and everytime since I have run into issues.. Its a tough medium sometimes. I mainly do coco now and soilless mediums, but theres nothing like that water culture growth when you dial everything in. So first off, I would tone down the nutes. I also run GH flora trio. I would bring those main three down to like 2.5-3 ML each and see how that does. If I was in your shoes now I'd probably do something like 3mL micro, 3 mL grow, 2 mL bloom. I'll add a link for their feed charts to give you an idea of ratios you want to run but the whole chart is made for photoperiods and youre running autos so you will want to reduce feed to account for that. I would remove the Recharge product from your regimen, theres good similar products you can find that are more suitable for hydroponics - "photosynthesis plus" comes to mind. check them out. If you wanna just test things without a whole res change, just empty some out and fill back with water and pH back to where you want it. On the subject of pH - try to be right at 5.8 , it can dip as low as 5.5 or 5.6 , but you dont wanna be above 6 ideally. hope this helps man, heres GH feed chart.. again, its for photos, not autos so you have to keep that in mind. https://edge.generalhydroponics.com/www/uploads/20210121184300/FloraSeries-Basic-Feed-Charts.pdf

Shes finally looking better, due to me actually getting better as well as understanding and getting used to hydroponics. At first it was rough but now I actually like it and might even continue doing hydroponics after this grow. No bad signs of anything, and root growth is great. Really white with fish bones all over. Massive roots for her age. Already bushy and way more growth than her taller sister. As you can see in one of the pics

So she is definitely growing way too fast and way too big. I just wish I had room for her. I'm gonna have to rewire and see about making room for her, because she hasn't even gone through her stretch in flower yet. Soooo, I had to switch lights because I was running out of room. Switched to a smaller light with higher output going into flower, and also did a res clean and change, with lotus nutrients. I had a sample pack that I wanted to try out. Heard good things about Lotus, so we shall see

So I don't know if she has root rot or if the roots are just stained. I'm hoping they are stained cuz I will definitely lose all hope for growing hydro even though I have now seen it is the only way to grow that is worth anything. The root zone stays at 70 but sometimes when I get home from work it says 72 so I throw ice in and it goes back down to 69, 70. The ph stays at around 6.1 most of the time, and she has been drinking a lot of water. I use silica blast and hydroguard to prevent root rot, but with my luck it won't help. Hopefully it's nothing and I'm just trippin for no reason

So this fuckin plant is the biggest auto I personally have ever grown also the first time I grow dwc for real. And I think the only way I'll ever grow again. One of these is like 4 in soil. So I am sold for the hydro game. Not to mention the skunk is the same age and is almost done but I will have quadruple the amount of bud from this girl here. She's got 50 something bud sites not to mention if I didn't hold up her branches with big zip ties they just fall off because there too heavy. The tent used to help hold then up but since I took her out all branches started to fall. So I almost fucked it all up but I did what I had to do taped her up and wrapped her broke branches and she acted like nothing happened. She's definitely a trooper pulling through the light burn light stress and me having to lift her lid everyday to add almost 2 gallons of nutrient solution. That's how much water she drinks a day it's fucking insane. Def A lot longer for her to grow and she's definitely going to get a lot bigger. I say at least a half pound dry if not more from this gal. She's well over 4 feet tall and well over 3 feet wide, and if I let the zip tie off I'm sure she'd be 5 foot wide lol. But yeah holy shit

No matter what I do, this plant is just gonna continue to grow straight up instead of produce buds. It's been flowering for a month and it still looks like it did a month ago. Just 20x bigger. I would say this wasn't an auto due to the size of this monster, but it has to be. I have 18 hours lights on and its flowering, or trying to. She Drinks a gallon and a half of water a day, and there are too many bud sites to count. If I didn't k or any better I'd say I'm gonna be getting close to a pound of weed dry weight off this bitch! Call Guinness because this auto is my biggest and the biggest I've ever seen. It's almost 6 foot tall. My first real hydroponics grow and I will never grow soil again after seeing this shit

Well she's drinking about 2 gallons of water a day and she's kinda leaving the salt buildup from the nutes so I might have to drain and fill with new solution. But I'm almost out due to this gigantic auto. I'm down to my last little bit of everything cuz of her. She literally drank everything up. I'm but to use my tiger bloom I had stored for the past 2 years. I just hope it's OK no clumps in it so I'm gonna try it. I have no choice. She easily downed the flora trio pack I got. She drinks like a photoperiod

So the cathode in my ph pen broke, and I can't afford one right now, and on top of that I'm out of the 2 main notes I've been feeding. So I'm getting screwed all around here. Hopefully it's not gonna kill my plant. Testing my skill right here. All in all this is the biggest plant I've ever grown. And it being an autoflower Def looks like an outdoor photo period. Buds are starting to fill out nicely

Her branches are getting too heavy for her own good. Her stems are in no way possible gonna be able to hold her own branches up. So I have to MacGyver some way to hold up these limbs and branches. If I'm able to successfully help her hold her own weight then we should get a hefty yield when I harvest in a week or two. But it's not looking promising. I Def was not prepared for this plant to get this big. Never in my 3 years of growing would I have expected this to happen. I literally have a tree in my bedroom. It's bigger than some trees in my yard no bullshit. She's over 6 foot tall with a width of about 5 foot. I've used all my growlights together and it's still not enough for this bitch. I can barely get the lid off to fill her up because she's too darn heavy. But I give myself props for how this one is turning out, especially cuz it's all been improvised since she's quadrupled the size I originally thought she was gonna be

Well she cant even hold up her own branches at all anymore. So I had to rig up some crazy shit in order to help her out. And I'm surprised that she's even doing ok seeing as how my ph pen is broken and my Flora trio notes are all gone except for the floragro of course. So I am using TPS Bloom but idk if that's working in place of florabloom, but I don't have anything to take Floramicros spot so I was really unprepared for this grow. I did not expect her to get this big or grow this long. But in my opinion she's doing great considering all the shit were going through. I mean idk what the ph is. I've just been going off memory and by looking at her leaves and her body language to tell me if she's unhappy or not

Well I'm into the last 2 days with her so I am flushing her clean and chopping her down. Buds are already turning purple just like I thought they would so my timing is right. Not perfect but this will be the first time I actually flush my plant. Tbh I can't tell the difference But anyway as you can see the one person actually reading this besides me, thank you BTW, this bitch is huge. So much so that I could barely lift the lid to top off nutrients or water etc. Like she feels around 50 pounds and I can say for an auto she Def takes the record for my biggest indoor grow of all time. Maybe even beating my outdoor plant that was 10 foot. Idk yet. But I can't wait to finally see the dry weight from this big bitch

So I'm just curious, how to get more people to look at or even like your grows? I only have 13 likes on this massive, likely more than 1/2 pound dry auto growing indoors. My best grow. My shittiest grow has more likes. I'm not gonna cry or anything I just am excited cuz it's huge

I appreciate grow diaries for giving me a place to put all my info and more I need to, and where I can ask questions if i need help. Overall this plant blew me away with how big she got. In the beginning I had trouble and Def didn't see this plant getting any bigger than 3 feet if that. She ended up being over six and a half feet tall. The root ball was massive, and the overall grow, once she got established nothing was stopping her. I had a few scares due to my ignorance but she was tough and pulled through. I think it was just about 3 months give or take a week seed to harvest. I do feel like if I didn't run out of Bloom nutes at the end I would have had a Lil bit more weight to her but its all good. That and her not being able to hold her own weight up. A few branches snapped from being to heavy and as a result of branches leaning a lot of them didn't see any light. I didn't have any way of holding them up because I was growing in my room. I was already hanging my grow lights from the wall and ceiling so I couldn't really do anything else cuz of the weight. I didn't want the lights to fall and smash the plant. Even though I don't think it would have fazed her. All in all 10 out of 10 for this wedding cake strain from Coastal Mary seed bank in Canada. Really pulled through and got to hand it to them. It's Def my biggest plant ever grown indoors. I'll edit with my final dry weight once dried, and cured. Thanks to the 10 people that checked my grow out and helped me out when i needed it. I appreciate it.
