Dying and blackening seedling

Does anyone know if this one will make it or what the cause of its death is? I’m not too upset I would just like to use it as a learning experience. It isn’t leaning on anything and is still supporting its own weight the angle isn’t doing it much justice so still hope?

That is called damping off. Several things can lead up to damping off... most common is a oversaturated medium. As it's a soil-borne fungal disease attacking ur baby sprout... there is no coming back from it.

My guess is you probably drowned it.. that medium looks way to wet for that size seedling.. 2 shot glass fulls at the stem, and a mist across the top soil next time.. Hope this helps! Happy Growing. 👊
