I use a 47l twin autopot system with 50/50 soil and perlite mix (with 2" cley pebbles) and am baffled by what type of nutes to use. From my angle its half hydro and half organic and i havnt found that golden forum thread with exactly my setup and advice. Any suggestions?
Hi!! I'm using autopot's also with great result, same mix with advanced nutrients, love how they can hold PH at optimun level at the reservoir. I would not recomend going organic as autopot says they do leave stuff on the reservoir and in the system blocking it. Rememer add a 2-3" of clay peebles at botom. Happy growing!!
Hi there!
If you are using soil/perlite mix then you should go with soil nutes 'cos perlite is just enhancer for the growing medium and wont change the soil.
Soil is only organic if you add only organic nutes in it, so you are growing int soil with added perlite for good aeration.
Advanced nuits is my favorite. Can use it with pretty much any setup. Anything made for hydro & soil will do you.
Or go with kelp, sea weed, worm casings, alfla shakes.. bit of osmocote.
Since the pellets and the perlite hold no nutrients I would assume that you should go with a pure soil feeding schedule. Hopefully this helps. Happy Growing! 🤟😜
