I was just wondering if I should cut out the middle of this plant as I'm mainlining for the first time and also how soon before I switch to flower I have a 60x60x160 tent with a viperspectra 600w

Mainline is looking good!! 👍 Think about when she grows more.. if you keep that growth in the middle it will turn out to be very bushy, that would cause less air flow in the canopy and the lower bud sites would receive less light penetration. If you decide not to cut that middle growth then about 2 weeks after switching to flower leave only the top bud sites when you defoliate. I recommend taking out at least SOME of the growth from the middle maybe not everything if you don't want but I recommend that you take out first and second nod.. that way you'll be able to fully use the mainline. The plant will be equally distributed. It will grow your main colas stronger and put less stress on the base so it doesn't end up splitting. As for when to switch to flower, when you switch to flower she can double or triple in size so with a 160 tall tent they need to be max 120cm from the ground not to have any trouble with light burn. I'd say when she's about 60-70cm you can switch. Thats what I normally do to use all the space. Given that the light doesn't penetrate all the way to the bottom. I normally take out all the bottom growth that won't amount to anything between the defoliation 1 week before flower and 2 weeks after. Hope that helps, either way she looks gorgeous with that mainline! Nice job! 😃 Happy Growing! 👊
