When to mainline

I want to try main-lining with this plant, when should it best be snipped at the first noad, do I wait for a few noads or do I cut it as soon as possible because of its short life cycle?

HI there! When mainlining photos it is adviced to top when 5-6 nodes have grown but Im not sure if the same applies to autos too

Better use LST. NorCal_Kannabliss is right, autoflower start the flowering stage the week 4 so they don't have time to recover from techniques such as mainlining or topping or FIM

If u want to mainline train ur auto u must start mid week 2... at approximately 3-4 nodes. Than u MUST time every topping after perfectly or overall plant size and subsequently yield will suffer. It can be done but time every topping after to proceed after 2 new developed nodes not after the first or ull stunt.

Don't do any training other than some light lst to an autoflower. It doesn't have long enough to grow to recover from those types of training! Happy Growing!πŸ‘Š

It's not advised to mainline autos as it can stunt the yield but I have done it. And others have. My advice is do it a little earlier than you would on a photo and make sure she's fed well and super healthy. Check out my ggg diary πŸ˜‰πŸŒ±πŸ‘
