GDub51answered grow question 4 years ago I have trained white widow fem. In this way: 12 gallon square planter gets seedlings in each of two corners of the planter. As they grew I drilled holes along the sides of my PVC planter and used green plant string to tie branches down in opposite directions until they meet. Then let them finish in this spiral shape evens out the light exposure from the top. Since I grow outdoors, I found no difference between the trained and untrained in the final product so I no longer do. Indoors is where this technique, like most, shines by evening the amount of light on the colas. Outdoor where the sun comes in from all of the 180' of the hemisphere such training seems needless.
