Wait till 3/4 of the hairs have turned color. Then start flushing, by end of flushing should be milky and tops of the trichomes look like mushroom caps.
As urban grow mentioned, best to harvest within 15 mins of light coming on to get the highest THC level.

Harvest buds on the early side for more of an up mental/psychoactive effect. The greater the number of amber trichomes, the more it produce a body couchlock effect.
Its personal preference. Personally I would go longer but its up to what type of smoke you are looking for.

Odd green smell during dryingDay 5 of dry and nugs are starting to crunch though stems dont crack yet.
I've lost the dank, unless touched, and it smells of what i'm guessing is clorophyll
How long does this last for or have I done something wrong?
Temp 19°c on average +-2°c and RH is 55% +-1%.

How should I prep this freaky fan flower for smoking?This plump lil flower growing on a fan leaf is getting picked off and smoked when I see the first amber trichs, should I put it directly in a small jar with a 2way humidity pack?
Trichomes seem to be aging faster than on normal inflorescence, touch slower than the ones on fans.
