Im gonna leave at 23dec and comeback 29, should I wait or chop before there.

Hello my friend, my choice would be chop 22 decemeber and let her dry for a week. Prelare a dry room with humidify at 50% and 20 degrees if possible. Then you can put it in the cure jar when you come home. Use a boveda pack 62% inside the curing jar and ideally cure for at least 2 weeks (You can keep some buds to smoke earlier tho ๐). Enjoy the harvest buddy! ๐

Why did the smell almost disappear?buds are drying and have been hanging for about 4 days. They still have awhile to go. But I noticed they have a hay/chlorophyll type smell and the bud smell is pretty much gone... will it come back during the curing or did I fuck up some how?

Drying. Which option should I go for? [expert opinions required]1) Drying in a shed outside [gets very hot middays and low hum and low airflow]

Ready for the chop? Day 59 of floweringDoes it still need more time? Hairs look 75-90%(depending on what cola you look at) orange and trichs look about right. Not sure if I'm seeing new pistols or their just kinda folding inwards. My preference is to harvest it for a nice balanced effect. Just a little couch lock.

Once again I must ask, is it ready for harvest?Pistols are anywhere from 60-80% orange depending on the cola, and the trichomes are mixed, I see some clear, I see milky and I see amber.We're mid week 8 of flower as well. If it's close enough should I ice the pot and start my 2 days of darkness now?

How close do these look to ready? Video in diaryHow early did I cut these? I know they are at least on the early side of harvest ready if not a little bit before ready, but the top of the colas definitely have a good bit of amber trichomes and I was dealing with a heat issue effecting the top buds so I cut a few to test.

In the dark before harvest?Is it imperative to put them in the dark before harvesting? I've built myself a dry box that will keep them dark, cool, and the air circulating. I still have plants growing so I can't off the lights and I don't have anywhere else to set them.
