I use 600w led double swicth (veg/bloom) light.. At lamp's box show that at 30cm it can supply 33k lux. But when i checked with my phone using android app it show just about 4k+- lux at 30cm. So based on you guys experience how much height i have to place my lamp for now?

Does it show 33k when you move the phone real close? 25000 to 50000 lux is what's needed for plants to grow well. I dont trust the free apps. I would place it where you can put your hand under it for a minute without feeling any discomfort. Cheers friend

Mars hydro 600 lights not going fully outHi everyone

Cuando y como pasar mis plantas a floración??I'm going to switch my plants to flowering 12/12, I've read that they leave them without light for 48 hours to force flowering, is this good or should I just skip it?? And I have a dimmable ballast, I have it set to 400w, when I switch to 12/12 should I set it to 600w or wait until the second week of flowering to change it to 600w??

LUX meter grow questionCan someone check out the LUX meter video and tell me how I should be positioning my lights? I think maybe I have too much light on them.
My meter says 600 (x100) that puts me at like 60000 lumen. The converter I used put that to 1541.36 umol/s/m2 which is a lot of light alreadyWeek 7

Espectro de luz en automáticasWhen should I switch the growth bulb to flowering? I have some outdoor autos that I give extra lighting to inside the house when it's night. The bulbs are 55w CFL neons, and so far (5 weeks) I've always used the CFL with the growth spectrum.
