Hi Growers! I'm undecided whether to remove the new lower shots, you can understand which ones from the photos (see also diary). Is it better to remove them by promoting higher grow and keep that part clean as a structure? My instinct says yes, I am looking for some confirmation

Hi there! I'd say keep 'em. They are filling the right side of the tent nicely and the tops are looking good in those. If you cut them you need to train your plant more to fill the whole tent if you want to max out your yield and used space

Looks like you've already chosen how your training her. Yes remove them. The shades are gone so will have hard time getting energy to those nodes. Will only grow fluff in the end.

I say your instinct is wrong. Those will grow into bud sites an they'll develop decently into colas. Remember when using lst, defoliation as well as main lining techniques, the goal is to keep the main head lower and shoots before that get time to grow to the same height as the main head. So based on what I've said now, you'd be letting the main cola grow but nothing before that to catch up to the main colas height...🤔🤷‍♂️ doesnt make sense, the techniques aren't being used in the correct manner. Happy growing

Hey Mate, If you give her 3-4;Weeks more in Veg., I'd definately keep em. If you change to 12/12 in the close future then cut it off. They wouldn't have the time to grow. Good luck and happy trails for the rest of the way 🤞 Servus ✌️ OimRausch
