Plug timer running fast

My plug timeris running about 10 fast each 24hr. And is now at about 2 hours past the actual time. This causes the light cycle to shift forward slightly everyday. Should I set it back to the correct time, leave it be or buy a new one? It is plugged vertically in wall socket.

Either keep resetting the time, so you don't cycle through day/night hours over time for your own convenience of waking hours, or buy a new one. i have one that is a tad fast, but not 10mins per day. every 3-4 months i just make sure it's the correct time

I have wifi plugs connected to my phone, so I can set times as I want on all of them, without having to reach for the socket every time. It's awesome. Highly recommend if you get a new one. But no, it shifting a little forward, doesn't matter.. It's more of an inconvenience than anything, if you have schedules you adhere to with watering and such.
