It probably is a slower path, but could be wrong. 35-40 DLI... whatever you could give in vege, i'd suggest keep giving it in flower. Only dial back if it shows signs of issues. Foxtailing, bleached buds etc... I don't mind knobby top colas, under the belief that the extra light getting deeper into canopy at stronger intensity is a net positve.. knobby solid nugs, not spirally larf. But, each to there own in absence of scientific knowledge on the subject. Fine-tuning is partly in the eye of the beholder.

I set my light to full strength at the start of 12/12 but also raise the light to account for the upcoming stretch. When working with a strain I know well it typically finishes stretching right at the closest point I want to run from my light for max intensity.

Your plants dont look healthy, i would sort this first, then would think about flower flip. Usually i gradually raise intensity, for week 3-4 of flower i am at max what plant can take without burn signs. Last two weeks of flower - i blast them max what i can get, even drop light distance to plant to around 20 cm, then i dont care about any burns, still watch out for signs of bleaching or foxtailing.

Always slowly turn your light power up so your plant can adjust with it, or they will most likely experience some kind of burn or stress. When going from veg to flower if your in the DLI of 35 range you can keep it there, and go up to 40-45 max range in a couple of weeks.

well when u switch to bloom 12/12 i guess, your plants get less light hours, this alone should be regulation enough just let the lamps on the same power than before. If you want you can higher it a bit but not too much only few centimeters. in end of grwoth they need an dli around 40, beginning of bloom just around 20-30
