LED light recommendation

I am going to need a new LED light to hang from the ceiling. I am looking for a light that has the red/blue spectrum. A dimmer switch would be awesome- the ones I read about that include-seedling, veg and flowering settings sound amazing. Any recommendations out there? Thanks in

Would look into Spider farmer, Viparspectra, or Mars Hydro for a decent bar light. Do consider plants size when they are done.

Timer plus one of the TOP 10 LED lamp manufacturers here is sufficient. With 6 plants you either need 2 of the 1000 series or one of the larger ones. Although I prefer two 1000s because that gives you more flexibility if you want to split the plants (you have autoflowers and normals in your grow). I have Mars Hydro and a No Name. You notice the difference extremely with the same power consumption...

If you want a full spec light with a dimmer switch, and dont want to spend heaps, ViparSpectra is the way to go. The P1000, P 1500 or P2000 series will do the job just fine. If you have a bit more cash and want a bit more light, go for the next step up in the range and get the ViparSpectra XS series in 1000, 1500 or 2000. Its got a better driver so the LEDs put out more light than the P series but the P series has same LEDs as the more expensive XS series. Both have dimmer switches and are full spec. Im getting a P600 for seedlings and clones and a XS 1000 or XS 1500 for a 4x4 grow tent.

Generally red/blue (burple) lights are older technology as is a switch for veg vs flower. Most of the industry has gone to white LED's (with some red's thrown in) which are more efficient and provide a better spectrum. On the low end are brands like Mars Hydro and Spider Farmer. There are numerous other brands to consider if you have a larger budget like Horticultural Lighting Group, KIND LED... there are almost too many to mention. If you are in Europe also consider MIGROW a good, reputable source of lights and information. I strongly recommend going to the Migrow YouTube channel and watch their lighting reviews. They provide honest test results of most lights so you can compare. There you can see good images of the light and see their opinion of build quality and test results of it's output. www.youtube.com/results
