Hey!
The first weeks of veg are the most important for root structure.
They need to be at their very best for those roots to really expand, if she's fighting stress her focus will be mainly on getting better and not on expanding roots.
Until week 4 or so you were battling stress and what seemed to be nutrient deffiiency. That and you only had 5 week of veg.
That's the reason your roots aren't so thick.
Next time around have the first weeks go perfectly and you'll notice the difference in growth, health, yield and the root structure when you harvest.
Still did a great job for a first grow.
Keep up the good work!
@LaBossanova@Mr_Motalovah@The8thChevron@Leafblower420 Thanks everyone for your help 🙏🏽 Taking notes of it all. Definitely brought her a lot of stress at some critical stages but at least Ive learnt a lot. Got myself an Ec meter which will help me keeping the next ones healthy. You’ll see more from me soon ! Thanks again 🔥🙏🏽
Hey Daweed, it's always like that in soil, it's when you seperate out the roots and the dirt , there's actually plenty of roots that break off and stay in the soil. They also stay a bit smaller , naturally because of the medium. Hope this helps ! 🚀
The first few weeks are most important for root development. Roots need darkness, oxygen, and water for healthy development. Poor development is likely connected to overwatering causing lack of oxygen. In the beginning weeks, I like to force my plants to work for their water. Force them to spread out and dig deep to find water. Some root bennies can help too.
