Hi. First time grower having problems and starting over. Wrong soil first time. Growing White Widow Autoflowering, what is the best combo of soil/amendments for a basic start? Initially my soil pH was way too high and had trouble getting it down so want to start correct.

I would suggest chucking the soil and going with coco. Got tired of fighting inconsistent soil or paying way too much for crap. If you must use soil Happy Frog and 25% perlite is fine. The grow will not have soil issues far as it goes. It will give you weeks of food for the grow or you can add ferts as you see fit

Hey! Great option for me is Light mix from Biobizz, great mix for autos, it'll last you 3-4 weeks without adding nutes.. They're PHed at 6.2, nice compisition.. Hope this helped. Good luck and happy growing!

I used Fox Farms Ocean Forest in 5 gal pots for my autoflowers. Four weeks in I added Fox Farms nutrients (half of the suggested amount) every other watering. Honestly I don't think that the nutrients were needed for an excellent harvest. I think if you're using a good soil (like Coast of Maine's Stonington blend or Oceanr Forest or Happy Frog like another user suggested) you'll be fine as long as you have enough light, air circulation and your temperatures/humidity aren't outta control.

Hey welcome to the growers club lol :))) My go to is: Wally World ProMix Nutrients: Earth Juice Seablast - Grow, Transition, Bloom, Bloom Master 2tsp Epsom Salts per gal for the entire grow. That's it. I grow indoor under LEDs and outdoor, both autos and photos, all in soil. That nute lineup is made for dirt, contains all of the micros you'll need, and pops frost everytime.

Hey Growmie, All I grow is autoflowers and the best soil for them is Happy Frog soil, the perfect ph, not too hot, and it has enough nutrients in it to last the plant for the first 3 weeks. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time.
