Hello All, i will be growing 3 plants. Is it ok to use 1000watt led light?
Factors:
No dimmer
Full spectrum
What far away from top of plant should it be?

Is it really a 1000w LED? Are we talking "simulated" wattage or what it actually pulls from the wall? Most LEDs should be rated by what they pull from the wall, i.e the wattage of the driver. Most lights that are 1000w are actualy anywhere from 45-150w depending on whatever the manufacturer wants to say.
That being said, 3 plants in a 2x2-3x3-2x4 space with that should be okay 18-24 inches. It'll be "ok".

Hey I started with a 1000w LED under 3 plants at a time and it worked great for me. I have now switched to Mars Hydro but nothing wrong with your light. You will still get a good grow/harvest. I try and keep the light 18-24inches at seedling height and then try and keep 12 inches for flowering if I can with the space I have.

Light distance and power with a 205W Sanlight LEDSanlight told me I should use it dimmed at 80% and 45cm when in flowering. I was aiming to reach lower buds so I put it at 100% and 50cm from the upper buds. The tips of the leaves are slightly burned but no bud bleaching yet like my last run (at 100% 45cm). What's best ? Thx !
