I put my 2nd plant in a ceramic pot to grow, and today I notice that the plant isn't growing anymore, it's small and making no progress. The roots are dark yellow and rotting almost up to the stem, I washed it off, can it still be saved?

it sounds like root rot. i would suggest starting another grow and make sure to clean everything that the plant was in, esp. the pot. when you start the new grow, make sure to not over water for the first few weeks, i would also suggest keeping them in the solo cups for 3 weeks or start them in a bigger pot and leave them in there. this save any time from transplanting, and stress caused by it.

Dont let your soil stay soaked just damp. If your worried their falling over and croaking, it's called damping off, try sprinkling a little cinnamon around the girls and water in. If it's not to late this could save her. Dont start feeding as they need to adjust to the nute levels in the soil. Cheers

I been using beneficial bacteria southern ag garden friendly fungicide...But have see people using h202 and was wondering how that worked and what kind of h202 they use..I have also used hydroguard along with keeping water temps

Root rot even using a little water. Can't help It!In my second try I still had troubles with root rot by overwatering issues. This time I waited even 3/4 between waterings (half liter for plant) but soil never ever dried properly. Next time I'll use Light mix, grow shop pots and practice patience. Clones have browned rootsMy clones have started to sprout my first roots luckily enough although yesterday I made a mistake by leaving them outdoors with the dome off my roots have browned and I suspect it’s from sunlight/wind, new roots are white it seems. Plants look a bit sad

How long before they die ?2 of them getting yellower by the day, 3 or 4 of them lost their roots under the pot and they come off very easily. Color is very dark but no slime or foam. It's too bad : I had only 2 weeks and 2 days remaining. Any idea ?

Should I quit, and start over? Still not out if it's root rot or just coloration from the larvea. Hydroponicshad larvea infestation. Used h2o2, 2 days later my roots looked like photo #1. Now 4 days later, same roots look like #2. Had pH problems. lowered now. Gon look if its stable tomorrow. They should be ready to flip now. All other pics are also from today. Should I continue?

I have been using 1/4 tea spoon great white powder on dwc. the first 2 days I get a lot of brown stuff on the roof, and 6th day it has dropped off but I still have them at the core. 1. should I wash them off every res change or leave it? & the brown stuff is normal

Root rot in (re-used) coco?Medium: coco/perlite (65/35), 25L AirRap pots. Re-used from last grow after 2 months drying followed by rinsing all the cocodust away. There was still rootmaterial from last growth in there. Plants are droopy all the time, stunted grow, but no rotten egg smell. Is this root rot?

Hey Guys, So I've been putting house and gardens amino treatment and root accelerator gold into my res and now I'm paranoid I have root rot. res is hella cold at 63 usually and they don't seem to be slimy aside from the gunk on them that I think is those additives. Is it normal?6y ago
