I personally prefer quantum board style lighting. It allows you to have more grow height and the light is spread out more evenly. With that said, though, it is less intense overall vs cobs as it is spread out more. I made my light using the same diodes as quantum boards and can have my lights as close as 12" from my plants. If COBs are put close to plants it is very easy to burn/bleach them compared to quantum boards. According to me it depends on what you are searching for. The QB boards will have a larger space coverage, with the cob you have the possibility to add lens and focus the light on a specific area . The boards seems to produce less heat than the cob and I also believe that the board will be cheaper for the same ( better ? ) results 😊

Hu @CANNASIM! Well I would go with QBs, I'm more than happy with the ones I got recently! Basically PCB boards have a better coverage than COBs that are focusing light onto one "hot spot". Plus, LM301B diodes have been showing awesome results both in labs and in real life, so in my opinion a QB setup with LM301B diodes is the best grow light you'll find on the market. HLG is not the only manufacturer, I've got mine from a UK based company (I can send you the link in private). At around 2 weeks of age, can I remove the big leaves yet? It blocks alot, (i feel), and 2 of the bottom first ones got yellow spots in them, otherwise good green color and growth.
