Watering seedlings query

Hi there, How much should I be letting the coco dry out for these seedlings? I just had a failed grow due to overwatering the seedlings and I'm looking for some guidance. I know there's many factors, but I'm just worried I'll either under or over water again. Thank you!

Hi! Coco is actually really hard to overwater cos it holds oxygen while being wet, where normal soil wont do this. So as long as you have proper drainage in the pot and you dont keep the coco soaking wet all the time you'll be fine. Coco likes to be moist but not bone dry or soaking wet.

Hello IsseyBukkake, Germinating seeds in coco is a task for itself, since the coco likes to dry out so quickly it poses a big risk for over/underwatering. Next time, you could try germinating them in rockwool or using the paper-towel method before transplanting into coco. At this point, I would strongly recommend that you make sure to keep the RH at 60%, make sure the coco never dries out completely but still not adding too much water. Good luck with your project, I wish you all the best! šŸ‘½

Hi there, Plants at this age never like overwatering.3~5ml per 24 hour is all you need for young seedling.Continue until 1week and use bottle cap or syringe to water her.Put a humidity dome and always blow a fan around her(not directly).Strengthen her stem with some support.Love, Care and Patient.Happy growing... āœŒļø
