What to do with clones?

Fresco

Please tell me what is better to do with clones? At the moment they are in a cheap liquid from the store. I didn't buy clonex because I didn't plan on making clones. I would like the top of the plant to turn into a full-fledged bush👺

Thanks for that additional info. I’m still unsure exactly what you’re doing but generally if you are rooting in water then you are ok to leave the clones in there while replenishing fresh water (and fresh O2) every few days until you see roots drop (7-14 days after cut) If you are following a traditional/regular cloning technique - e.g., take cuts, add beneficials or rooting hormones, root directly into cubes, rock wool, soil, etc., then you don’t soak the clone stems for that long of time (2 days you said right now?). When I used to use rooting hormone I would let them sit for 15-30 min. I would take those cuts, cut off anything that looks soggy, and then move them into rooting plugs right away. Hope this helps

PS I am using root stimulation liquid. Here is an excerpt from the description: "When propagating by cuttings or pieces of the stem, a substance is added to the water - this contributes to the speedy root formation." Composition: Gumi-20 - 0.4%, more than 80 natural useful macro-, microelements and minerals, useful microflora. The plants are in solution for about two days. Is it worth moving them into regular water?

I’m not sure what you mean by “cheap liquid from store,” can you please elaborate? Are these sitting in a glass full of water? Sparkling water? Grow store? Grocery store? How long have they been in water? I don’t use clones or any rooting hormones and have a 95% success rate. You can still be successful too. Will try to get you a better answer once you fill in the blanks ^
