Wondering if I should defoliate? Seems to be contradicting opinions on defoliating autos, would like to have some feedback as this one has a LOT of leaves. Thanks!

Less leaves = less energy produced = slower/smaller growth.

Erm pesonally I wouldnt because of what OROGANO has stated. Especially with Autos they have a limited growth as it is and to stress it for such little gain if you have the space just leave her. Less stress in this stage the better in my opinion its the most important stage.

I’ve got 4NLXBC BIG BUD..end of week 8...been doing different training on all 4...LST,LOLLIPOP, PONYTAIL,HST...defoliation.. .check the difference. Air flow to all the buds stimulates them and increases light penetration...I know they say don’t shock autos cause no recovery time...but the proof is in the development of my four girls..

Yes, defoliate any leaf that's blocking too much light to side shoots below. All I really did was defoliate and bend on my last auto grow and the plants were all beasts. Check my completed diary to see the results!
