I keep on asking this question a lot but with my lemon 2 the bushy one should I leave her as she is and tuck leaves away allowing light to bud sites or do you think I should do some defoliating as there are just so many leaves!

Hi! I've read that defoliating autos can be risky business 'cos you want to minimize any stress to autos but if you pluck 2-3 leaves that should not be a bad thing. You can take the biggest leafs of to get more light penetration and if you have lots of leaves laying of top of each other that can promote powdery mildew and mold etc so I suggest that pluck also some leaves for better air flow in the bush. Just slowly and its looking good like it is too!

Hi there.. if any, then i would remove maybe a few of the bigger leaves on the bottom to ensure that you have good air circulation, or one or two on top that are really blocking a lot of light to the lower buds, but other than that, i wouldn't start defoliating too much anymore... happy growing

Salut le jardinier ! quand on est en flo on arrêté d'enlever des feuilles pour ne pas stresser la plantes et éviter qu'elle devienne herma ou qu'elle ai un autre problème . au pire tu enlève une feuille ou 2 si tu a vraiment constater qu'elles bloquent trop de lumière sinon laisser tomber . bonne chance a toi bella ciao

Defoliate lower fan leaves on Autoflowering Lemon Haze???Should I defoliate a few fan leaves towards the bottom of the plant? She is very very wide and bushy. I feel like the bottom would produce some large branches and buds if there was more light penetrating. And there are so many leaves tucking only gets so much light through.

3 sets of fan leaves per node on newly topped plants.One cola on each of the 2 recently topped grape punch plants in super soil have started growing 3 fan leaves per node. I believe that's known as a whorled flower?? Is this just an uncommon mutation, or something to be concerned about?

Should I defoliate light-blocking leaves from my NL auto?My NL auto is at D40 and is growing well. She's developing a good lot of cola's with nice bud sites.
