Currently my lights are on a 18/6 schedule, from 6am, until 12am. I want to change their light cycle to start at 4pm and turn off at 10am, so the heat of the light balances the chill of the night. Whats the best way to do this, without triggering flowering, or stressing them.

What I would probably do is turn the lights on for 24hrs for a few days . Then switch the lights to the 4 to 10 cycle . That's just what I would do I'm sure others with more experience will know better. I don't think you will trigger flowering as they require at least 12hrs of darkness. Except autos of course.

Hi! I have a problem with this when we have a time change! I personally move the timer in 30 min increments a few days at a time until I hit where I need to go! So go 5:30-11:30 for a couple of days—- 5-11 for a few, 4:30-10:30 and so on! Good luck! ✌️🏻💚🌿

Hi you can turn off the light at 10 am After 4 light hours then turn on at 4 pm and you are in cycle! You don't risk to trigger flowering because there isn't a dark period of more than 10 hours. Hope to be usefull Happy growing
