I wanna change light schedule for my babies.. for now they run from 07 to 24 hours and I want to run from 18 to 12 hours so I would have dark period during day.. should I just leave it to run for 30 hours and then introduce new "night" time?? Plants are 4 autos 7 and 8 weeks old

Hi ! Succes!🌱

Thanks all for help, I thought it was too much stress to extend "day" time.. temperatures were problem and now when its not that cold during day I want to switch, power bill is also a factor far as night electricity is cheaper.. thanks again for all help ✋👍

If they are half way through flowering, I would not change a thing for fear of freaking them out. If they were in veg, I would say, no problem. Is there a real need to change the times or have you changed your mind for whatever reason? If it is essential, probably giving them a longer sleep would be better than giving them a longer day. A longer day might freak them out due to their metabolism running at full steam much longer than they are used to, but a longer night combined with a "dormant" metabolism would have far less stress involved. The extra dark for one night will not cause any shock, but an extra long day may shock them. Hope this helps,..... Organoman.
